Ahh! That was an overstatement. Every book i've read since i read Scar Tissue was a dissapointment. But i started reading Charles Mingus's biografy and i like it awhollottalot. And i guess that sience-fiction book was good to... it was called "the Wholy Bible"

right, sorry to say it but u must be slightly ignorant of decent literature. books are a other artform, and just like all artforms it contains genius, which probably isnt located in rockstars' autobiographies or in obscure science fiction novels. dont get me wrong tho, scar tissue is a beautiful book.

john didnt start doing heroine until after he quit the band and as for rehab he said he only went bc people told him too and that he didnt even use the detox meds bc he kicked the drugs on his own by just dancing for a month straight before he entered rehab... idk it sounds weird but i read that in an interview of his and he was being serious.

no too early this is in 91 and he left in 92... he didnt start the heroine and crack until he left the band

and he did drugs for the next 6 yrs and only kept in contact with flea

then in 98 he went into rehab but he didnt actually take the detox meds there bc he had already kicked the drugs on his own by just dancing for a month straight in his house... ya weird but it was in an interview i read on his website
