Fox news, 6/22/2010, had their expert, Dr. Siegel, present the case that MJ causes lung cancer, depression, suicide, anxiety, etc. I wrote to Dr. Siegel & asked him to send me links (or info) that support his position. He wrote back & said the "references" were readily available. I wrote back & told him I'd like to see info HE relied on. (b/c all the research I've done shows cannabis is not harmful, actually decreases chance of lung cancer & helps the other causes). No reply from Fox or Siegel.

@janar17 actually depending on the strain of cannabis used the effects on driving are either barely effected or not effected at all. this is because the cannabinoids in the cannabis will only bond with cannabinoid receptors and for the most part will not have interactions with the neurones involved with things like reaction times or sight. With strains that are predominantly sativa, spacial awareness can actually be improved. !m not saying you should drive high but its far worse driving tired!

@jamestoner24 There is a strong chance that pot will stay (or become) legal in Canada on July 15th 2011. I'm not to familiar with what Canadian laws are like, but legalizing marijuana says a lot of good things about the way their laws might be. I'm betting their laws are far less autocratic than The U.S.. I definitely can see myself applying for Canadian citizenship very soon and proudly calling myself Canadian.
