Bowser's Road stages were some of my favorites in Super Mario 64 - it's fun (and frustrating) to get near the end only to miss a jump because of an odd camera angle, misjudging the jump, etc, fall and die. Of course, in the fire stage, you get to watch Mario bounce around in the lava before dying xD

Not true. Games on Nintendo consoles (At the very least) up until the Wii used Hex. I've done some Mario 64 music hacks (Hey, I was bored) and everything is in Hexadecimal. There's no easy way to convert in-game songs to MIDI. For some games it's possible, but for most it isn't.
