  • Pure Magic !!!!

  • man.. Chris is a str8 drumming Machine !!!! hahaha love it :P

  • I wish they played more of they're songs like this, and just jam em out... this is awesome stuff.. Makes sense Warren Haynes showed up

  • Sorry, but chris pennie's drumming just did not fit the band very well. I'm glad eppard is back.

  • gah... just so goddamn awesome... i wanna give claudio a huge hug.

  • pennie*

  • chris penny is a beast

  • RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    awesome

  • I really appreciate that noone dislikes this video. Could it be that music fans are maturing?

  • @pfarrell11 hopefully...

  • That's ludicrous that he can play the guitar and the theremin with his head at the same time. ._.

  • EPIC!

  • drummer reminds me of Paul Rudd....look for yourselves

  • This mothafucka played a solo with his fuckin HEAD... By far the best band instrumentally EVER

  • THEREMIN SOLO. OMG.

  • REAL Coheed fans know that you can possibly say that any of their songs are good or better than others, because it's a matter of opinion. That said, this song is 10 times better than Welcome Home.

  • btw theremins are amazing and the fact that claudio can play them with his head is even more so.

  • wtf is he playing?

  • @mywilly558 it's called theremin

  • Is that a Thermin? Claudio knows how to play a fuckin Thermin? I give up at this point lol.

  • you guys are tryna diss that guy but he's right welcome home is played out and its an all right song, the composition of other songs surpassses that of welcome home.

  • @matthewsinist3r Lyrically Welcome Home is amazing though. The musical composition may be repetitive, but IMHO it was the song they wanted to use to get more recognition, and some of the other songs they make definitely are not 'main stream' enough to have done what Welcome Home did.

  • would have been awesome if he did Garth's drum solo at the end.

  • what is that thing at 1:40?

  • @kneehigh8667 it's a theremin....they're known for giving the user like 40% control over the notes it makes, while requiring a crazy amount of practice to get that good...Claudio rocked it!

  • @najiatwa01 THE hardest instrument to play like the Holophonor in Futurama.

  • @XIXMagnuXIX HAHAHAHAHA....okay okay....I forgot...listen to "XIX" cuz he's telling the truth...the theremin is officially the second hardest instrument to play behind the holophonor...some say you need the robot devil's hands to play it correctly or a reaaaaaaaallly old egg salad sandwich from a gas station dispenser (If it doesn't crunch when you bite it...it's not old enough).

  • @najiatwa01 LOL

  • Man i wish all these videos were in HD

  • REAL COHEED FANS listen to Coheed.

  • Chris Pennie is really an invaluable addition to the band. His improve is amazing.

  • what's claudio doing at 1:33- 3:38?

  • @h3adbanger95 it's called a theremin. and it's awesome.

  • Guys...REAL FANS ARE GOING TO NEVERENDER SSTB! Woohoo!

  • @GreatestSoloEver not if you live on the other side of the world, with no money :'(

  • The theremin makes this song hauntingly beautiful...

  • what is that thing hes playing with at 1:21

  • @smugoogie a theremin. hard to get used to, but very fun to play once you get the hang of it

  • Josh is still a better fit for coheed noone can take away chris's badassness...but josh had the groove that just fit so well with coheed...that being said chris did not disappoint me like I was certain he would when I heard josh was no longer in the band....just listen to the way they both play in keeping secrets of the silent earth 3 and then tell me who was a better fit for coheed

  • love me some coheed and cambria! thanks for posting this buddy

  • this puts chris pennie at least 3 steps over josh. open handed too??? a glass can only spill what it contains

  • this may be the single greatest performance of a song that I have ever seen/heard...It was Everything Evil at a live show I went to, but this...whoa....

  • they had to cut this into two parts because listening to it all the way through simultaniously causes comas and or death

  • @ithr0craze1 my heart almost stopped when i realized this song had another 2 parts

  • @ithr0craze1 Theres three parts dumbass lol

  • @osostewie You are an idiot, he said ANOTHER 2 parts, which is correct, 3 parts in total

  • i luv the faces that Wes makes in this performance. roflmao.

  • The only problem I have with Coheed is that they still exist, even when I have a ton of shit to do.

  • claudio just played music with his hair... your argument is invalid good sir

  • 2:00. claudio plays a fucking theremin with his hair. I WILL DESTROY ANYONE WHO DENYS THAT THAT IS THE MOST EPIC THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED.

  • @RockstarBurnzy dude... he played the theremin... with his fucking hair... is there a doubt that this man is god... if anyone does i must meet them... and kick the shit out of them... repeatedly

  • @RockstarBurnzy I will join your cause, my friend.

  • haha, 2:22 its a HAIR-amin! XD

  • what is claud playing at 3:28?

  • @MCcoheedRandcambria theremin

  • What are those "wavy hand" things called? LOL i forget... :/

    That claudio is playing?

  • @kylejamescarr the theremin?

  • @DREAUXENTERTAINMENT Quite possibly the name of it... But i thot a Theremin was his signature guitar or whatever. The instrument on a stand at 1.23 seconds

  • @kylejamescarr yeah, that's a theremin. his custom guitar is a minarak medusa.

  • @DREAUXENTERTAINMENT Ahhhhh alright. thanks for clearing that up for me XD

  • @kylejamescarr ya no problem.

  • Chris Pennie, "Where the fuck did everyone go? Aw you guys are assholes XD"

  • That's funny the first song I heard was welcome home and I didn't like it at all. Than I heard ten speed and favor house and that did it for me. Still to this day I think welcome home is my least favorite coheed song

  • Is there anything Claudio's hair can't do?!

  • lol he's playing the theremin with his hair!!!

  • 4:48 what is this the casino stage from sonic lol anyways its awesome

  • the flaming lips 1:23

watch race for the prize live

    still amazing fucking show

  • The hair has weird ghostly music coming from it!

  • omg. i would die for that kind of ability. WHY CAN'T MY HAIR BE AS METAL AS CLAUDIO'S?!?!?!? Dx

  • 7:29 Amazing.

  • is he using a fucking theramin? that is badass lol

  • In my opinion, Welcome Home is a very good song. However it is not in any way an accurate representation of Coheed and Cambria's musical style.

  • It's a Theremin :D

  • Mr. Sanchez has prodigious theremin talents.

  • @NatoDesper Isn't it amazing?

  • @perry475...In my opinion Welcome Home is one of the worse songs on Good Apollo. Granted, because it's Coheed, it's still one the greatest songs out there...but my no means is it the best one on Good Apollo...Ten speed and all the Willing wells completely blow it out of the water

  • @rushofcrazy no all the songs are fucking amazing its just that welcome home is probably the most well known song that coheed and cambria have

  • @uefamay1 If you read my comment carefully, I was not saying Welcome Home was not a good song. I agree it rocks, however, it upsets me when people say the are Coheed fans simply because they've heard that song and then they piss me off even more when they say that Welcome Home is the best song off that album, because in my opinon, it is far from the best off the album.

  • @rushofcrazy Apollo 2 or mother may i ... IMO

  • this is such sick guitar work...peter frampton and mick mars would think this shit is far out...lol...especially mick mars cuz he uses the same headset travis uses to do most of his effects...i think the first time he used it was on the dr. feelgood album

  • 7:52-7:55 = Chris with drumstick wings.

  • Theremin's are the shit!!!

  • I find it sad how this only has 9,964 veiws and the miley cyrus shit has millions and millions, this is the best shit man, I love this song man its epic.

  • Man I don't like sabian crash cymbals! Zildjian is the king of crash! But i like sabian hi-hats better.

  • i just love how they just leave the stage LOL. tht is sooo funny to me. and then the rest of the band jus starts jammin. this is why Coheed is thhe greatest

  • theramin battle O.O

    fucking epic

  • This jam is Fucking EPIC

  • dude. i want one of those things so fucking bad.

  • Claudio is just too dam talented..

  • i like the sound effects in the thermin

  • 2:10 sounds like a robot!

  • o_o I JUST NOTICE THE UNKOWN GUY ON THE KEY BOARD GOT HIS OWN SOLO

  • WES STYLES IS NO UNKNOWN ;)

  • @speckledorf13- (if he ever reads this, by trilogy I mean the 3 oart video of the final cut, not the Willing Well. Sorry for the confusion

  • AMAZING

  • rolf i love the pianoists fase at 5.09

  • i like that coheed fans always comment on how Welcome Home has amazing guitar in it, but not one of them ever comments on how amazing/creative this trilogy is

  • Comment removed

  • REAL Coheed fans know that this is 10 times better than Welcome Home :p

in fact I'd take Willing Well 1-4 over the rest of the entire album :)

  • @shieldforumJim Same here. Willing Well is the shining part of the album. The other songs are great but the Willing Wells are amazing. Welcome Home is their worst song.

  • @perry475

No, it's not. It's tough to listen to, because it was on Rockband and whatnot, but it's by no means a bad song. It's an epic prog/metal mix, and just because a few rockband players know the words doesn't mean it's not fuckin awesome.

  • @MattAttack1221 It's not a bad song. It's my least favorite by them. I never said it was a bad song. I just stated they had songs that are way better. Welcome Home is a good song.

  • REAL COHEED fans know that all of coheed and cambria's songs kick ass. And if you have a problem with that then fuck you.

  • @AcidSnakeEater45 FUCK YEAH!

  • @AcidSnakeEater45 All their songs are good yes. but i hate people that have only heard of coheed because their song welcome home was on guitar hero

  • @TheKorprate I know what you mean I hate people like that to. The first song I heard was blood red summer from that psp thing that came with the psp and I fell in love with coheed. but come on it would still be fun to have a guitar hero with all of coheed's songs and not just one.

  • @TheKorprate Welcome home was on Rock Band, not Guitar Hero.

  • @AcidSnakeEater45 But I'm a die hard fan and I don't lie Feathers. Does that make me a bad person?

  • Comment removed

  • @StopRunningKid no did i say that? and i really don't care what you like or don't like.

  • @AcidSnakeEater45 What about if I REALLY like chocolate milk? Would that make me a bad person?

  • @AcidSnakeEater45 agreed. we must man our jackhammers and fuckin fight all the haters

  • @AcidSnakeEater45 you tell em

  • @AcidSnakeEater45 well not all but sure as fuck 98% of them do

  • @shieldforumJim

REAL COHEED fans know that no matter what the song you are still a fan, and they have no preference of songs but love every one of them, and REAL fans would realize that their songs are all really one big song, considering it's all a story, but I mean after all even their name says it..."Coheed and Cambria"...the two main characters of the story...(Claudio is the MAIN character later in the story, but for the beginning according to albums, it's Coheed and Cambria)

  • @techie3484 REAL FANS are people who dont give a fuck what some douche on youtube says about a sick ass band!

  • oh hell yeah, willing well is on some other shit man...lol love it

  • Those aren't coheed fans. just Rockband players. The willing wells are amazing.

  • @AdrianZILLA the willing wells are the best songs on the ablum.

IMO this album got platinum because of them, not the singles

  • Is no one going to comment on the fact that the keyboardist is perfectly replicating the theramin? i was pretty impressed. now that i think about it, being there and seeing it happen was basically a series of mind blowing face melting musical orgasms. god i love this fucking band

  • 2:56 sounds like a puppy lol

  • lmao, claudio looks like he's trying to cast a spell. :P

  • Dude, he cast a spell on us a long time ago.

  • @rockster07 With his hair :O

  • Theremin, Love it!

  • Was it just me or does someone else think that Mic messed his solo part up because he was not loud enough?

  • asher, i dont know why someone gave you a thumbs down but i gave you a thumbs up to even that shit out, haha. causei dod believe mic wasnt great in the solo and it wasnt very loud so who knows

  • I love Mic.

He could always stand to be a bit louder though

  • wouldnt call it a mess up o.o,and if you listen through headphones hes quite audible xD

but yeah, louder bass is always nice :)

  • Claudio may be one of the best singers I've ever heard and one of the sickest guitarists I've ever seen, but I can do what he did on that theremin xD

It still sounded pretty crazy though I admit

  • right,he wasnt PLAYING the theramin, he was just making cool sounding sounds with it to supplement the awesome jam that is The Final Cut

  • theremin..

  • O.O

  • another demonstration of the sheer power of claudios hair

  • @OneOfTheFire

there is already a cure for cancer my friend, its in claudios hair

  • @OneOfTheFire lmao, you sir. You win the entire internet.

  • @OneOfTheFire it makes music on it's own!!!

  • @OneOfTheFire wow i don't think i've ever heard of a theramin. i thought it was magic!!

  • how the fuck does that thing work?

  • sound waves!!!

    i love the theremin.

  • wtffff mics solo shoulda have deffff been longer

  • MOBY DICK!!!!! haha made my day.

  • where?

  • 2:43 Magic-Man Claudio?

  • You can tell Claudio's influenced by Hendrix, some of the solo's he does here sound like him.

  • not necessarily the only thing i heard that sounded anything like was the wah pedal claud was using for the solo.

  • OK. So claudio went from playing with his teeth earlier while Travis played with a talk box, to playing the thermin, to playing guitar with his hands and the thermin with his hair.....

i beg your pardon? mind = blown

  • thermin*

  • a thermin???? o ok i watched some termin vids pretty cool "Instrument"

  • That theremin is SO badass

  • first of all were the hell did he get that thing...second of all IS HE PLAYING WITH HIS HAIR!!!!!!!!!! Im utterly speach less after this spectacle

  • I have decided that Chris is more machine than man.

  • BASS SOLO MIC TODD!

  • DUDE! Coheed and Cambria used metric modulation! No doubt the influence of Chris Pennie!

  • Have you heard of that group The Purple Testament, they use metric modulation alot.

  • Dude, that band blows.

  • Yeah but their drummer is awesome.

  • Well, if you ask me he takes too much inspiration from Dream Theater. Now their guitarist, there's a creative force worth mentioning...

  • Lolcats, let us hope he won't viddy this clilp.

  • what instrument was claudio playing at 1:22?!

  • It's called a theremin...

  • its called an extraterrestrial

  • its mainly wes styles with his sythns but claudio does a bit with the one he has next to him

  • fairpay thats epic

  • My friend met travis' dad on night 4 in NYC

  • ITS AN AIR MACHINE!!

  • 3:41 - Travis waves "Bye!!!" :D omg haha

  • I hate the fact I missed out on this EPIC concert. Damn. Man that sucks for me. ;(

  • this is so epic! Coca for life

  • i would do anything to go to a neverender concert listening to them tell their story.

does anyoe know if they'll do it again?

  • I'm sure they'll do it again once they've released the prequel album

  • mmmm probly not

  • probably the most exhaustively Phenomenal bad to date!!! NO JOKE!
