  • HOSPITLALITY KENT WAS BEYOND EPIC

  • HIGH CONNY YOU LITTLE MINX!!!

  • classic

  • sounds like nero reaching out

  • Hey, if you are going to post radio clips of parts of songs, do you need to make these have ads play in front of them?

  • @resaf or you could use flashblocker and block ads yourself

  • @9899mufc i hadn't heard of flashblocker, thank you sir/m'am!

  • i hate listening to the radio ...they talk too much

  • Is it just me or is there more and more drum n bass coming out with well lyrics that are shit!?

  • this is amazing

  • is his new album out already? i thought it would come out the 27 february?

  • @smexybucket its not out yet, just this song on youtube.

  • gay

  • @benhoshinji and I'm James, nice to meet you.

  • This is the 3rd best track on the new album - after 'Wish You Were Here' and 'The Only Way There'..... Both of them also feature Selah Corbin - that woman is a massive talent :)

  • stop bitching about it not being an instant classic! :) give it time, things become legendary overtime :)

  • Literally been looking for this for over a year

  • nice wow!

  • Love this, the styles he moves through are all amazing. So glad I've seen him perform this the friday just gone.

  • brilliant track! the vocals play nicely with those killer strings! #lighta

  • not bad, but not racing green

  • tune

  • This is soooo boring... Omg High Contrast, DnB teacher from my musical past, where did you get lost? Where is your dark atmospheric sound? Netsky must have slipped something in your drink or I dont know whats this supposed to mean...

  • very catchy, love it when im pillin cause its got that whole dramatic/epic thing goin on but i get what people mean about this bein a bit samey compared to high contrasts other stuff. Can't beat If We Ever lol - too classic

  • @BootinTroopsinPutin God, you are right. If We Ever brings back a lot of good memories :) that along with Basement Track is probably one of my all time favourites!!

  • Expecting an ARTIST to stick to a certain style or formula is incredibly narrow-minded.

  • Goose Bumps, 2:58 !!!! WOW! AMAZING TRACK!!!

  • Back in the day this was the first drum & bass artist I had ever heard. And now he has opened a path to us into the world of hospital records and all things drum & bass and Jungle. Long live the Hospital family!

  • @NarlenWolves!! you said it!!

  • this isnt good ... this is PERFECT!

  • Ron Paul ad and AMAZING DnB?! God this day is perfect

  • @Stantonization why u gotta bring in ron paul and god into the conversation???? i speak for 99% of ppl when i say this, STFU about ur idiodic views, or GTFO

  • <3 Big Up From Brazil !!! <3

  • Anyone knows what the background tune at the beginning and end is called?

  • @wizkid4590 It's called "If We Ever" on the album "Confidential."

  • 2012 is a new year for drum and bass!

  • FUCKIN LOVELY

  • really dissapointing, hospital really are taking a turn for the worst...

  • @DomUK11 just got Fred V and Grafix signed, huge names and a lot of promise!

  • @Hogzisking Very true and they have also signed S.P.Y. but this and netsky's new material are really dissapointing...

  • @DomUK11 we will just have to trust that its just a dry patch!

  • @DomUK11 But netskys new song is fucking awesome.. it just takes a few listens

  • i remember listening to this in my mates car on full blast raving to it back in october i think ive been waiting for ages for this to come out!!!

  • The new LP just doesn't sound right. The tracks just don't sound quality somehow, just kinda rushed. I guess they're supposed to be mixed together at a Hospitality event or something, but they just don't work as tracks by themselves for me.

  • @buntyfunt I totally agree. It feels like the wow factor is missing.

  • This song is actually incredible from start to end

  • amazing tune

  • Today LET IT ROLL & HOSPITAL RECORDS @ Katowice, Poland. Damn, it will be fuck sick :D

  • @PitersonCK

    no i ku#wa bylo! :)

  • PLEEASE UPLOAD NETSKY'S FIRSY AIRING OF GIVE & TAKE!

  • oh and nobody gets out of here alive too. man this guy rly had some legendary tracks alrdy, I rly hope for some nicer stuff than this. but i repeat its not bad, he just did better alrdy.

  • i gave a like but i sincerely hope the album will have some better tracks than this.

i remeber nothing is older than yesterday or mgmt time to pretend remix. those were some of the best dnb tracks ever made (are^^) so its hard for him to compete with that, but this one is rly not the best of his skill.

  • @Manakaiser Oh dear.

  • @sopzR actually im sorry i meant if we ever instead of nothing is older than (thats a C & K track but its still massive)

but anyway if we ever or mgmt time to were some of contrasts best tracks.

  • @Manakaiser Was going to say... And no, he will never beat his tracks like if we ever, eternal optimist, racing green ect. They are classics.

  • sounds like Mehdi

  • @silvar198707 r.i.p

  • Massive Tune! Thank you Skream for the Share!

  • @supperelias Word mate, thanks to him i've got several new songs on my list. Lovin' em!

  • fuc'n amazing...

  • anyone else throwing money on the screen?

  • didn't do much for me, its not shit but its not blowing my socks off.

I feel like he's got lazy recently that unique and progressive style he once had seems to have faded.. sad times

  • @Nickyb2010 i second this.. its always the way though. the sound will never be like it was back in the day.. there's just not enough real old skool kids around these days..

  • @Nickyb2010 check the flip side....

  • Loved this since hearing it at Hospitality Brixton over a year ago.

  • this is brill

  • beautifully !

  • This is so similar to his other stuff, in terms of the beat and the way it's been produced. It is very catchy but I prefer his darker stuff like "Ghost of Jungle Past", "Fearful Symmetry" and "Seven Notes In Black".

  • @dontcryjustdance

I've got to admit, I liked his "High Society" and "Tough Guys Don't Dance" albums better than his darker stuff, only because I thought he was better at the more soulful liquid style of drum and bass, with the vocals and harmonies, rather than the jungle and dark elements, though they are good too, because you can't go wrong with High Contrast :)

  • @dontcryjustdance totally agree, "The only way there" off the new album has got something going for it though, in touch with that darker side :)

  • name of track after the song while they were talking? 3:39

  • @k1dpoison High Contrast - If we ever ;)

  • @blabla1ization omg <3

  • TEE....UNE!

  • Cooperation with Tiesto is like curse. High Contrast, please... stop while you can! Your own music is much better. Winning the rankings of commercial radios is one thing ...but making good music is completely different thing. I hope you know it!

  • Comment removed

  • @H40THEDON "Shut Your Mouth?" heh :) But even so... I comprehend your answer. Write me please just who do you like more. Tiesto or High Contrast? If Tiesto, then I understand your reaction and I have nothing to add ...

  • Comment removed

  • @ltg000 You can't advise High Contrast to do anything. He's a drum and bass legend and master, I think he knows what he's doing!

  • tune

  • zajebiste ^^

  • I remember first hearing this at brixton academy in 2010 and it's finally released 2 years later <3 I read all about his new album in a couple of dj mags so im stoked to have finally heard the real thing and it definitely lives up to the hype :)

  • Can't get enough of this tune! Such talented producing

  • meh, pretty insipid. is there even a drop? if so, I appear to have missed it.

  • Can someone please tell me what the song is playing in the background when the women is talking at the start please? i recognise it but cant think for the life of me what it is.

  • @SleekProductions1 if we ever

  • @MemroMusic if we ever what?

  • @SleekProductions1 its the title of the song! High Contrast - If We Ever

  • @SleekProductions1 by high contrast

  • this is awful drum and bass.

  • @husg13

    What you talkin' about Willis

  • what a tune

looking forward to his album out in feb

  • oh dear! commercial & bass :(

  • Wow its only coming out now???? This has been around for ages! Finally!

  • Shazam didn't recognise this when i recorded it from the radio.... whadda hellll!!

  • woweeeee

  • Nice one. Vocals on this are the best you have ever had, something different.

  • HIGH CONTRAST! Powerful tune this one. Well done :D

  • brace urself...HC's gonna get this year's MTV award for hit after hit..

  • Nothing revolutionary.... nothing ground-breaking..... but a HC choon always makes me smile like an idiot so it's cool :D:D

    Happy happy happy sounds

  • HIgh Contrast has been working to a magic money-making formula for years now. So has J K Rowling. But are either of them any good? There's not doubt HIgh Contrast knows how to mix down a track, but it's amazing how he's built a career from essentially making the same tune 50 times. That said, 'Ghost of Jungle Past', 'If we Ever', and his hard-to-find Papua New Guinea remix are awesome. And despite some haterz saying he plays the same DJ set for months at a time, he does light up the dance floor.

  • @liminal2 really nice way of putting it. I think he's one of the rarer artists who actually is a good musician, but knows the fine line between selling out, and SELLING OUT. Lets hope he gives us something better in 2012..

  • @liminal2 I disagree, Tough Guys Don't Dance is one of the most influential dnb albums of all time. Same goes for True Colours and High Society.

  • Yes high Contrast!

  • This is damn good.

  • Bring back the old Hospital !! :(

  • jeees trailer for John Carter looks fucking SICK.

the track is meh, I actually rate the vocals - look forward to someone like Calibre remixing it

  • Nice tune, would like an 'instrumental' better though.

  • As long as there is some wow wows in there I'm happy :D

  • i know theres some old farts on here grumbling about the vocals and the track as a whole being weak.. i see what you mean, but i also think, there will be plenty of tracks on the actual album which will be his old style.. remember he's releasing this single to the world, and the majority of people will like this.. its a big tune. but i reckon the album as a whole wont be like this.. i hope it wont at least

  • So bland and unstylish. Musical equivilant of an Ikea Billy Bookcase.

  • the guy writing descriptions for this channel is.. TOO DAMN HIGH

  • Rad as always... keep up the killer tracks... I love hospital records

  • weak? this is the complete opposite of weak, lads.

  • Lovely Vocal! Somehow has so much more soul and depth compared to normal Dn'B.

  • @mo282 cause she's welsh

  • @mo282 it's a high contrast between him and the others :D

  • CHOOOON!

  • LETS SET THIS SHIT STRAIGHT. Your out your mind if you think this is "poor" or "weak". That's fucking music. Fuck your manafactured shit.

  • @mxgav118 This IS MANUFACTURED SHIT. Linc you can do so much better, get back to your roots and quit this mainstream bull your trying to spread over peoples ears. You lose many rave points for this outrageously sub-par tune.

  • siik tune though i like it

  • i swear ive heard this track without vocals in mixes before

  • Some retarded comments going on here, tune isn't too bad. Just because hes getting on the radio now doesn't mean hes any worse, stop being silly.

  • I don't get it. My 'Opinion' is that i think this song is banging!

  • I feel like this is going to be like "the first note is silent" : as in there was quite a mixed response to it initially when it came out on the hospital yt channel , but on a club soundsystem it makes everyone go nuts , hopefully HC plays it at fabric on friday =]

  • Sounds like Pendulum

  • great song!!!! heard the instrumental last april in NYC tore up the dance floor with my best friend Mike RIP so this song is special to me and high contrast and Drum and bass are one in the same. Amazing

  • 5/5 !

  • not as good as i was hoping to be honest

  • annie mac just fuck off showing people hc

  • @Flydeification everyone already knew about hc...

  • havent been able to get into anything from hospital since camo & krookeds last album, think it set the new benchmark for me!

  • actually really like it, cant stop drumming to it on the table

  • Nom nom nom ecstasy <3

  • Can't say i'm overly enthused about this, perhaps it is a different vibe because of the collaboration artists? I can hear a little Tiesto influence in here, especially with the woman's vocals. But, hey, hopefully the album makes something better with this track.

  • it is a good song , nice actually . i can feel high contrast here , but he updated his style a little and lost something that made him so special in the past. anyway big up :)

  • sorry but this is piss poor!!!! been a high contrast fan since day one and i dont think this is any good "hate" on me haha fuckin bring it!!!!

  • vocals? a nice little twist HC, but you would be doing every raver a massive favour by releasing an instrumental of the track on the EP, thank you that is all :-)

  • I always find it pretty sad and pathetic when someone uses the word "hater" to describe a person who doesnt like something. It couldnt possibly be because the "thing" in question isnt up to scratch. You praise a D&B artist, they love it. You express disappointment, they use the slang of a 14 year old American (or rapper). I would say it's because we're NOT haters why we're so disappointed. If these people had never liked Linc's work, they wouldnt have bothered coming here in the first place.

  • @ManHuntDrumBass Hater is such a stupid word in the first place, I instantly assume anyone who uses it is slightly thick.

  • Gash

  • anyone remember him opening with this (without vocals) at Hospitality Brixton in sept 2010?

  • @donPPP sept 31th 2011, Hospitality Brixton is so live!

  • @donPPP you betcha!

  • @donPPP yeh i remember hearing it at hospitality nottingham aswell, such a big tune!

  • @donPPP I remember that perfect! :D That Was a sick night... :)))

  • @donPPP Yes, Yes I do that night was epic

  • @donPPP hell yeah waited 2 years and it's finally released <3

  • It seems like an averagely good liquid track, not High Contrast.

  • AWWWW YEAHHH.

  • Can't get enough of this tune

  • blaaarghhhh <3

  • RESPECT to an Artist as established as HC not giving a fuck what people say, mixing up his style and making it possible for us to enjoy some fresh new sounds.

  • Yeah, nah...
