Thank you for making this remix. It brought back some good memories for me. Golden Sun, definitely one of those stories that just is warm around the edges and makes you think a bit.
You know, at first I was just glad there were finally Golden Sun remixes on Youtube. Now, I'm too entranced in this song to even think about that.
This remix catches the true essence of Lemuria's condition. A once flourishing city now threatened of falling off the edge of the world. As time moves slowly for those in Lemuria, the wait for their end is an agonizing one, not being able to do anything to prevent their imminent doom.
In case anybody was interested: Camelot chose the name Lemuria because it was fabled to be a real continent, existing at the same time as Atlantis. And like Atlantis, Lemuria was destroyed and thousands of years later it was washed under the ocean. Lemuria was more supposed to be more technologically advanced that our present society and Atlantis was supposed to be more spiritually advanced, and the two continents may have even been at war with one another.
wow I am simply amazed beyond words by your Golden Sun remixes. Say, do you even remiy Battle themes or take requests in that direction? I am asking because I wouls really like to hear a remix of Saturos' Battle theme (Star Magician Battle theme in Golden Sun 2). It would be really great if you could do something like that.
This is so beautiful to hear. For me, it really builds on the original and even surpasses it. It's so rare to hear a remix that outshines the original. Fantastic work.
Hmm, while I get the complaints about the melody taking a long time to manifest, it sorta made me think of that long tunnel you ALWAYS have to navigate to get into Lemuria proper. Dunno if that was intentional, but yay, Lemuria! <3
nice Adna. I really enjoyed this one. I do echo the comment on it taking a bit too long to get to the original theme, even with the statements of it early. The A theme should usually be established pretty early on, and hard to make it known that it's established. What happened is instead there isn't much of a melody through a majority of the piece. That's not necessarily "wrong" per say; you know that as well as I do. But it does isolate the listener because there's nothing to grasp to.
@TyrantLubu Of course, I realize this is an abstract realization of Lemuria. But if you listen, the first statement of the melody is at :30, and then again at 1:35. ;)
@Lightandgold I was wondering what VST you used to get that awesome ambiance. Sounds like a chior? I havent yet found a VST that can recreate this ambiance.
This was really good. I almost fell asleep during the last two minutes I felt so relaxed. Love that touch you added in the beginning, too!

So... beautiful...
Goes straight into my soul. It catches the very essence of an ancient civilization in its decay... So beautiful, I repeat. Thank you.

Amazing (especially for something that was just whipped together) it's like Vangelis meets Golden Sun

I had no idea what this vid was about until 3:06. I'm sorry but I can't relate to the game without nostalgic-esque melodies :(

@0rangaStang It's one called Majken's Chimera. It's one of the better free pads I've run across.

@Lightandgold Do you remember where you found it? Or to which VST it belongs to?
