Plus this car was once an observation trailer. Remodeled for the war,Obseration platform removed, two motors (not 4, as most NS steel cars had) were installed. Used almost entirely on Mundelein run for rest of its career. So it is a bit underpowered for its weight.
C'mon guys use the sanders!!! Seriously I got to run that car back in 1980 with an instructor who I remember had a heavy English accent. Enjoyed EVERY minute. GOT to come back there sometime.
