I agree, especially the "is this what you wanted" bit. I feel like it might be the narrator's mother who committed suicide, based on "I wish you could know we [my siblings and I] grew up so well." Note I said the narrator, because not all songs need to be autobiographical; I'm not sure I'd have the courage to write such an experimental song on such a delicate topic.
