Seems like every wrestler/worker from W.C.W. was made into 5th string banana after W.C.W. closed and they went to W.W.E, for work. W.W.E.'s invasion was not just slow to start, they didn't have any big names like Goldberg or Ric Flair...Since ya know W.W.E thought it would cause grumblings in the locker room. Yet they hired them eventually, but by that time W.W.E's invasion was stale. Even the most hardcore fan of W.W.E. cannot say W.C.W.'s invasion wasn't genius and wrestling got better.

i remember monday night wrestling back then started at 6pm pac time.. id keep switiching from Raw to Nitro. i never did that until Hall resurfaced after Vince killed the Razor charactor. then Nitro started the 3 hr shows @ 5pm so, basically we had watchable wrestling from 5-9pm..

now a days theres nothing LOL.. oh well fuck it. when is was good back then it was at its best 95-98. i havent watched wrestling consistently this whole 2010 year versus i rarely missed a show in the last 27 years

I have never been sold on Bischoff's brain. The NWO storyline was the only storyline that he really did himself. And it came originally from an angle New Japan did with the New Japan Assassins. Goldberg was big because of guys like Kevin Sullivan who helped him, Sting got the idea for the crow sting from either Nash or Hall. He got lucky with one gimmick and thought he was a wrestling god.

This is what type of angle is missing in wrestling today. I have seen a lot of changes in wwe in 2 years. their pg rated again, meaning can't say ass, damn, hell or anything offencive, TNA is the complete oppisite. Sure TNA is a small company, but they do something that WWE forgot to do. listen to the fans, not the coroprate players, or religious rights, its the true die hard hardcore fans. In my opinion TNA is doing better than WWE right now. I would like to see Impact! go up against RAW

Yea. And at that point the best they could come up with was fake Diesel and fake Razor. It took some serious rebuilding to fix that situation, and it didn't hurt that WCW started falling apart around the same time the WWF started really kicking ass. The lowest WWF RAW tv rating was 1.8ish, and the lowest WCW Nitro rating was 2 something. WCW still had a core audience that AOL/TimeWarner kicked to the curb...
