Hey Jade, I agree that we're lucky to be where we are. Even the part where you mentioned about water, there are areas in the world where water isn't readily available.

I know myself that I don't do much to help change my ways, but I have donated to charities, and did child sponsorships.. Not everyone has to go do that, but any little thing we do counts (at least that's how I see it).

Ultimately you can only blame who you are on yourself. Because when push comes to shove, you are the only one who controls who you are.

I disagree.

Studying sociology and majoring in criminology has shown me that a large part of who we are is influenced a.) by the way in which we are brought up and b.) the society around us.

Of course people can fight that but at the end of the day, you are who you are and thats it. You wouldn't argue with a gay being gay.

I am selfish and materialistic, but at least I realize that and can admit it.
