Voz, violão o pé batendo pra não perder o tempo ao melhor estilo Roberth Johnson, Delta Blues tem um som tão puro que me arrepia, queria ouvir bem de pertinho sentado do lado dele!
I truly love watching and listening to this video. I know it ain't Clapton or Prince, however there is an undeniable virtuosity in plain sight. The contrast of the man's skin and the sterility of the walls spoke volumes then and even now. Incredible!
@IpCrackle don't think so, but you don't get much of a look. Wouldn't be unlikely, they were often together arguing, Theres a video somewhere of both their views on the blues, one arguing about moneyt he other stating women.
@IpCrackle No, it's Skip James. If you go to The American Folk Blues Festival 1962-1966 vol. 3 (2a Parte) posted by Andalucia1960 you'll get to hear Skip sing "All Night Long" and then he'll make the hair on the back of your neck stand up with "Crow Jane". Bukka White finishes off the set with "Got Sick & Tired" and then you can see all three of them sitting there in the studio.
Noted that there are no strings on the guitar - but that isn't an issue. These musicians were pure magic and influenced generations of players. Utterly brilliant!
@TheWiiZone no lip synching in this, but there was actually more lip synching back then than now lol. just about any TV appearence was lipped. this was an actual festival i believe though
@rrgprksKS1972 ----house was pure delta blues (from the dockery plantation), having learned solely from hearing other players live. johnson did too, but i believe he had the advantage of using a record player, hence the wider diversity of styles in his work.
youre right. at their level there is no "better", only different.
..blows every catchy tune away

@spitfireskater375 Son House pre-dates Robert Johnson and I don't think there is any comparison of two true blues geniuses ..
