  • u think its a good guitar ?? ummm just saw one at RS 5300

i nt sure if im gonna buy it or nt !!! please answer me !!!

  • @GuillaumeRousselable Hey. Yeah its a great guitar. You will spend a lot of money trying to beat its tone! Yamaha's are top class guitars regardless of price. Buy it!

  • @GuillaumeRousselable Its an awesome guitar, i got some recordings with it on my channel aswell, if you wanna check how it sounds in bluegrass style. DEK431 awesome playing.

  • That's a great guitar! I have an FG700S...I love it...it actually sounds very good.....Had it for 2 years, and want to move up..What will the LL6 give me, sound-wise, as opposed to say the 730S?

  • @belikewater001 Englemann top, mahogany neck (&rosewood), ebony fretboard and ebony bridge - LL6 vs sitka spruce top, nato neck, rosewood fretboard and bridge - FG730S.

I went through a lot of FG models and wanted a bit more, the LL6 gives me that.

Tone is subjective so its best to try both yourself but to me the LL6 has a bit more refined tone where as the 730 is rough and ready, just depends what you like. Good luck, let me know how you get on.

  • @DEK431 Thanks very much for the input....I thought I had it down to a Martin D-16DT or a Taylor DN3...but you've made me look at Yamaha a little close..the LL6 is now in the mix.. Thanks again.

  • @belikewater001 I just went through this so I thought I would chime in 11 months later. The FG 730 is more of a strummers guitar. Set up properly you will not overdrive it with hard strumming. The LL model's are more of a fingerstyle guitar for light to medium strumming. If you are into country music or some harder rock the LL is not for you. If you switch out the saddle on the FG models they sound almost and I mean almost the same as the LL6. However, hard to beat the LL6 refined tone.

  • Nice, bright sparkly sound to it. Good stuff!

  • @downfader2 Thanks. Just put it down after an evening strum.

  • Nice Guitar :-) ;-)

  • Thx for the review. I have the same guitar.

  • I love the sound of a Yamaha acoustic guitar... not those CPX things though
