  • I have this record at home and to me there's no B side to it. Both Washington Square and Turkish Delight were terrific songs.

  • I liked this better than Wash Sq. and still do. What a great song to dance to!!

  • Great "flip" side. I pretended to be a WMCA good guy DJ and used this as a theme. Guess "podcasting" really began back then and then was reborn in 2005 with Ed's Mixed Bag at edsmixedbag dot mevio dot com still going strong!

  • yes, it was the B side to Washington Square. I remember the day in came to the stores for sale.

  • I have to wonder what Wolfie would think?

  • This makes me feel so very warmly content.

  • LOL! This is a jazz arrangement of Mozart's Rondo alla Turca {Turkish March}. It's not Turkish per se.

  • @plaasjaapie It was composed by Mozart in honor of the Turks and the Ottoman Empire!!

  • I´m not turkish but this melodie is really really cool! ^^

  • First heard this song on the radio in the summer of 2004 -- fell in love with it! It seemed to be performed by people who had never known sadness. Very happy. Listen to the end...it sounds like the happiest band in the world!

  • thats crazy... thanx

  • thnxxxx to making nostalgia , this is awesomeee...

  • Thanks for putting this song up on youtube. It brings back good memories. When I was a kid back in the '60s my parents had this 45rpm record. It had Turkish Delight on one side and Washington Square by The Village Stompers on the other side.
