@aliba15 Say what?!? That salon charges $500 to put in giant synthetic twists? That style doesn't even look like it would take long to do though it looks like they twist right from the root so you would need to do that if you wanted that exact look (there are videos on how to do that, too, but I find it unravels faster that way so I always braid the roots).

@aliba15 The tricky part is getting the extension hair tight down at the root (I braid the first inch or so). Just practice a few times and start at the back/bottom (so that as you get better the nicer twists cover up the messier ones)
There are a good few tutorials on the subject, gotta love youtube for that.
Another word of advice- the hair that he bought was toyokalon and I found it rather hard, kanekalon is softer and yarn is softest. Good luck!

His were relatively long (they had to be for the hair to extend past his natural hair & have space for burning), if you go any longer it starts looking a bit girly, which may/ may not be an issue for you. I know you would do a fantastically neat job.

This is definitely a necessary! There are many men out there who have substantial natural hair and have to end up lookin at our vids:} So this is great you took the time to do this vid. The style looks really good and the nephew is a knockout.
