Wow, such a difference between this and everything that came after. All their music is great in its own different way (except their latest album, I pretend that one never happened)
I disagree with people like Thronsohn. While their newer stuff is fine, it got way to emo for me. Their old stuff was raw and creative. I don't say that to take anything away from it, they were never going to have the same success without changing a bit. But as a musician, their older stuff really spoke to me.
@rashadvarma No duh! The whole entertainment industry is a big hoax, a huge lie. Anyone that is mainstream and popular is only there because the big corporations allow them to be. Most of the time the reason being they do what they are told, by using their lyrics to spread the disease that is american pop culture, to blind us and disarm us of our most powerful weapon....our minds.
Sorry if I sound rude, but anyone who says, 'Lady Gaga/Justin Bieber/Rihanna/whoever' is destroying music is a bit stupid and really needs to look harder.
There have always been shitty pop artists, deal with it.
One of my favorite Dredg songs as well, I get to see em on St. Patty's day, I cannot fuckin wait! #1 band to see on my list these days, after this the list takes a serious kick in the balls in talent and innovativeness.

Dredg is what rock should have turned into. Thanks a lot jonas brothers for fucking up our rock veins.

@ezrahumane It's too bad Dredg's music has gradually turned into something closer to Jonas Brothers especially with Catch Without Arms.
