Jailbreaked and unlocked successfully 2 iphones... first iphone 3Gs (old bootrom, baseband - 5.15.04) and second iphone 3gs (new bootrom, baseband - 5.14.02) ..Worked everything fine with me.. Now can use tmobile on both mobile. She said reboot only once but it ask to reboot 2-3 times when u go to cydia and install essentials... @mbt04041993 This video is for UNLOCKING an iPhone. You have an iPod touch, which has no phone and thus theres no need to unlock it. However, while some of the info on this tutorial can be used for jailbreaking purposes, there are several stipulations on jailbreaking 4.2.1. You need to check redsn0w (dot) com and read all the prerequisites. To be honest, if you're already on 4.1, i wouldn't even worry about upgrading until the jailbreak matures a bit and more people have tested it.

For all those having "waiting on reboot" issues, unplug the cable from the iphone, then plug it right back in. It *should* work. By the way, using Google doesnt hurt. You people should try it sometime.

You can also try right clicking on the redsn0w icon, going into compatibility and selecting Windows XP service pack 3 and also run as administrator. This fixes another problem later on in the jailbreak too.
