I personally think the LMS mufflers look like crap. They belong on a ricer car. I like the clean look without seeing those big ugly mufflers. Toss the stock mufflers & put some 3" stainless tips on there, it will sound just as good and look better.
its the mustang cobra motor. just different intake and cams. but understand this motor was put in the Lincoln before it was put in the mustang. 4.6l 32 valve quad cam v8.
im my opinion..an x pipe is really 2 pipes bent to intersect each other...and then cross over....alot of mustangs have them....so does my lincoln mark vi, not factory though...i have flowmasters and a custom built x pipe....but on my other lincoln, i had "true duals"..with glasspacks...sounded like crap, i will never do that again....but i think x pipes are still true duals...dont cut my head off...just an opinion
just turned 153,000 last week. when i got it back in the spring of 07 it had 110,000. i drove it back and forth to Fl 2 times from NY and no problems. i just put in black leather seats and two tones up the insides real nice using all black parts from another 94 lincoln mark viii. i'll try to get the vid up tonight. i had problums last time try ing to get it up. so check back in a week or so to see the walk around vid of my car. just got new grill and next is the headlighs. after that price go up

Anyone with a mark viii have 4.10-4.30 gears? How big of a difference did it really make and was it worth it? Any tranny problems afterwards? Also if i wanted underdrive pullies would a kit made for a 96-98 cobra work on my 93 mark viii? Any info would be a huge help.

yea thats very common. mine has it too a little on the trunk lid and right in front of the sunroof. it'a a manufactures flaw in the paint. the black one i told you about thats for sale has the paint blemish on the hole car. theres no good paint on the car at all and it only has 78,000 miles.

sounds baddass...but did u know that it really isint a true dual exhaust...none of the fords 4.6's are true dule exhaust.....even though u see 2 muffelers on the back there is still only 1 pipe that goes to the engine...still is fast as hell though
go look at my other videos of my car and you will see that mine is a true duel set up. this is the qx4 TRUE DUEL cat back set up. but your right the 4.6's are a single pipe after the resonator. except the lsc from what i hear.

You are simply describing dual exhaust. "true dual" means the pipes do not meet. In an H pipe, they are connected, but do not meet. in an X pipe, the two pipes become one very brief section of pipe, then return to dual. Notice how drastically an X pipe changes the sound of a car's exhaust compared to an H pipe. And you can't call me ignorant when you misspell the word in front of it, jackass.
i tll ya what. them forest green color marks look real sweet. forest green wit black and tan guts and real dark window tint would of been my 2nd choice next to the the one i got now. the black one. i'll make some more exhaust vides this week. i get off of work at 1:30am so no one is on the road and it's louder at night so the system is really gunna sound great. look back for a new vid next week or so ok. ttyl

How many miles have you put on it since the install? When you get 500 miles on, she will get nice and mellow. Sometimes it seems loud when first installed but when it gets "seasoned" it sounds deeper and even more mellow. Very clean sound.
