Beautiful performance!! You're awesome!! :)... You should try Kyle Landry's version of this piece ;) It's an amazing cover for an already amazing song :)
your tempo is just right! not too fast like others are saying. it was made to be fast. I got this sheet and the tempo is 100 if I'm not mistaken. nice job!
Lovely expression in that piece! And I see you're using the RD-700... have that one too, great digital piano! As for others comments on the speed, yeah, it's faster than Tiersen but that doesn't make this version wrong in anyway. It's just her take. If you listen to different pianists playing the same piece, e.g. the 'Moonlight' sonata the differences in speeds can be extreme, it's all personal choice, and as a listener, you buy the interpretation you like best.
A bit fast, but very well played. I'm studying this piece, but I find it difficult to combine the fast right hand with the constant rythm of the left. (From 1:45 till the end) 5*

My favorite channels for "amateur" pianists where this one and daveisthemusic but now you are playing yann tiersen... its such an obvious path to greatness. Best Wishes for your music career if you going for it :)
MARAVILLOSO!!!!! I loved this. there are times when you hear something wether on the radio or on tv and you wonder "Who is this? what is it called?" This video is one of them and now I have the name and the luxury of seeing it played. Thank you Vika. <3 5*s
I am so glad you have chosen to do something like this, that was a fantastic experience!

@slimchance87 Does it matter? It's still a beautiful interpretation. And Vika has a habit of making songs her own.. so who cares honestly?

This Yann Tiersen music is very beautiful.
A similar one that I also love is "The Heart Asks Pleasure First" from Michael Nyman. You should record your performance of this one.

the problem here is not the technique (in fact its an easy piece), what seperates the pro's
from amateurs here is how to fill it with emotions
(like soft rain fall). listen from 1:43 to 2:03 (in my
option the most important part), then you ll see
(and here) how skilled the performer is

weird to see how ppl can call people "metal" lovers or "techno" lovers, just by seeing some of theirs videos.
It's not weird to love good music...

The piece is extremely rudimentary. It's definitely the piece of a modern musical mind.
Classical compositions for solo piano just seem so alien and complex when juxtaposed with modern compositions such as this.
