@MrShivam69 Lol yeah but if I was the galaxy's greatest guitarist and there was an alcaholic poet who couldn't play a note in the studio shouting a lot I guess 'd be a wee bit pee- eeved lol
man I didn't know this existed! But I loved the beatles version when I saw this I was skeptical but it's definetly hendrix. He knows how to something and do his take on it which was mind boggling
the instrumental is really awesome , but perfection ? only when someone cut the horrible morrison background...god must be drunk when left him ruin this wonderful night...
I have the whole recording of this Jam. A very drunk Jim Morrison screamed about anal sex among other things throughout the recording. I can just imagine the embarrassment Jimi must of felt that night.
@88jimring no he didn't the whole song is so awesome. and this is just a jam and it is full of energy and it is so alive and its sounds awesome. so if you don't like it.. do it better yourself and than you can talk
I never even met Jim Morrison! There's a whole album of Jimi and Jim and I'm supposedly on the album but I don't think I am 'cause I never met Jim Morrison in my life! I'm sure I never, never played with Jim Morrison at all! I don't know how that [rumour] got started."
It really pisses me off at what I hear on the radio that passes for music these days. When I listened to this track at first I really enjoyed it, then it was something deep and spiritual about. So strange, considering this man was long dead before I was even born.
Than who was playing guitar then as the second guitarist: I just looked it up in the BFS book and that references the "McCoys and others." Who was in the McCoys?
Yes. Thank you for posting this. This is Hendrix, Jim Morrison and Johnny Winter performing this Beatles song. This particular mix is a remix featuring new inserted drums, drum machine, and organ. I'm a collector and wish the estate would remix some of these famous jams. This is incredibly well done with someone with performers and remixing capabilities. Thank you. This has become my preferred version. Its great.
@dcp1127 You're incorrect actually, Johnny Winter was never there, despite common belief that he was. He has claimed on numerous occasions that he was never there, and in fact never even met Jim Morrison.
@dcp1127 There's no Johnny Winter involvement on this jam to my knowledge, but the McCoys are jamming on it with Jimi and Morrison. Source: From the Benjamin Franklin Studios (2nd edition)
nice man. hendrix is great but that asshole singing in the background loves to get drunk and wail. i heard that hendrix didnt like him too much. lol. but damn this is good. he always played with his all no matter what.
@NANDO218 Here Hendrix performs the guitar featuring Jim Morrison. In this case, I think Morrison was very drunk while he was with Hendrix. That's probably why Hendrix didn't like that man too much.
@NANDO218 in fact they liket each other, and another fact, when jimi hendrix was drunk he mostly became aggresive and shit, it was like he became another person. but when he was on drugs he was alsways happy and kind to everyone. but jim morrison and jimi hendrix did come across very good, most of the time tho
@shortwatchtower dickhead. if shut the fuck up and read the comment before you say stupid shit. #1, he was wailing and didnt sound good AT ALL, and #2, i said I HEARD. not that it was a fact. get off his dick. its not that serious. you act like i just fucked your mother.
@NANDO218 haha, you are funny. you are calling jim morisson an asshole, while he was larger than live.you better shut the fuck up because you have got nothing on him.
@TheAmericanFreeBird Yes, for that reason I wrote in the description of this video that this song was PERFORMED by Hendrix, not that Hendrix was its author.
Respond to this video... I'd like to know when this was recorded, it's Hendrix in my opinion - it sounds like him playing and what's that he's saying about Jim Morrison?
this comes from the "infamous" bootleg where gems like these came to "life" albeit the bootleg is more notorious due to morrisons epic rant "f*** her in the...."
@Gauraonline Sorry,I'm not pretty sure. This is the performing by Hendrix of the original Beatles' song.I got this song from a CD that has a compilation of Hendrix Best Hits.
@beatlescenter I know that buddy. When I put in this video "Kimi Hendrix-Tomorrow Never Knows",it does not mean this is Hendrix's,it means that this is performed by Hendrix.I want to make this clear.

this is just a jam.. maybe hendrix is playing, but playing what.. "tomorrow never knows"?.. i don't think so
maikelburgue 2 weeks ago
@maikelburgue its a jam based on the riff from tomorrow never knows. listen from 0:25 to 0:40 and you can hear it
MrBMJ 1 week ago
@MrBMJ i tend to think that they are jamming anything, whatever, including a few seconds of the beatles song.... i wouldn't say "it's based" on it.

@maikelburgue yeah maybe inspired is a better word, but you can definitely hear the resemblance. Great track nonetheless.
