For those who say it was a pathetic fall....

1.) I'd love to see you try to jump that height on your 14hh wannabe ponies.

2.) look closely, the asked the horse to turn left on landing, he body position turned left, but the horse did a flying change to the right lead, and turned right.

3.) Due to the sheer height of the fence, she was pitched onto Shutterflys' neck, leaving her more vulenerable.

Unexpected, yes... but an amazing rider nonetheless <3

This horse is beyond beautiful. I am just learning how to jump, so I don't know as much as I could know -- but doesn't Meredith hit the saddle far too soon? Aren't you supposed to stay in 2 point until the horse hits the ground? For instance, at the jump at .13, she hits the saddle long before the horse hits the ground and then when the horse does land out of the jump, it sends her inches out of the saddle??

@ashbec08 yes she did. but when your jumping that high you kind of have to lean back when you are going down from the jump. plus its kind of hard to see but the horse took off when she though it was going to take another stride.

@ashbec08 you can come back with your upper body but you want your hands to stay foward until a stride or 2 out.. if you sit down with you seat to soon you just pull rails.

its better to stya off ther back but sometimes thats not always the case haha.
