Sean Murphy is always coming up with great, fun ways to help our community of Anna Maria Island and this is just one example! I call it making lemonade out of lemons, except the BP martini tastes better than that. And donating the proceeds to clean-up efforts is typical of the man who gives us stupendous St. Patrick's Day parades and supports local organizations with donations. Murphy, yes!; BP .... no!
This is great. I love this. I dig the local spin. All these years and I had no idea she was also great in front of a camera. I'm always so proud of our island, the people and how we rally ourselves in times like this. Mr Murphy has always given back to the community. This comes as no surprise to me. Well done to everyone involved. Thank you.
Please note in the video description that all proceeds from the sale of the BP Martini go to the Gulf Coast Oil Spill Fund, to help with cleanup efforts and to support the people directly affected by this environmental disaster. Thank you for watching.
I think you'll find they are donating the proceeds if the Beach Bistro's website is anything to go by.
The Gulf Coast Oil Spill Fund is one of the most reputable charities aiding victims out there. I applaud people who are able to think out of the box and assist such great charities and well deserving people like this.
Why don't you take a profit of the money you earn off the drinks and donate to help the spill? You would get more business and be helping instead of just earning money for your selfish needs. Your business would gain a lot more respect.
With more research and before criticizing, ALL proceeds are going to assist Gulf Fishermen and their families in coastal Louisiana. Before you criticize every aspect of this creative concept, what are you doing for the cause, Dipstick?

HEY KIDS! i HAVE AN IDEA...
Lets use a horrible accident where 11 men lost their lives to make a smarmy advertisement to promote our booze joint! We can get some bimbo to be the face of our bar and - even though we admit it had zero effect on us - we'll make some money off the tragedy!
(After all, she's too old to be a strip[per anymore).
