What kinda gets me is that NO ONE on his own team went over to check on him or console him or see what they could do to help. That's pretty damn lame that they didn't seem to really care that he'd just been demolished. I think I'd resent my teammates a bit for that. I felt sorry for the guy. With his teammates being so ambivalent about it.

Pretty damn obvious he didn't hear the whistle and until the last second it looked like the play was going. I don't blame the defender at all ... It was just a very unfortunate play.
And as far as the "karma" people here? What did Case Keenum or Cotton Turner have to do with this play. Wishing "karma" to be paid by them is BS. They weren't even on the field, so why is their losing their seasons "karma" when they had ZERO to do with the play? That's absurd.

i really don't believe that was a cheap shot. the guy beat his blocker, or at least he thought he did (the lineman got up and moved with him for a while.) then, the other end was through and still running at the quarterback. the guy just made an honest mistake

They showed the play from 2 angles. One of them I could hear the whistle and the other I couldn't. I hazard a guess at his level, he heard no whistle.

Players are told to play till the end of the whistle. Hunt should have been blocked and Kemp shouldnt have acted as if he was passing. He should have spiked the ball and backed out of the pocket.

Most of the users here were not at the game. The crowd was loud and it was hard to hear the whistle on the field. You can hear it in the videos due to the mics. I was sitting 5-10 yards away and heard nothing. If the play was intentional then our DE would have been suspended but he wasn't.
