@AlexeiCrazytown - a damn shame Blackmore & Gillan did not play nice together, so the party could have lasted longer. One memorable RB performance (of many) is Mistreated @ Calif Jam 1974 (Cloverdale vocals). Ohhhhh ..... those were the days.
@DennisGW10 - so many of these tunes bring back (mostly) pleasant, and are ramps onto the memory highway, which when all said & done, memories are the best asset we have, and one we take with when all said & done.
@EarCandyJar The memories of which I speak are good ones...that was a very happy part of my life, and while I'm still a happy person I still think about that time in my life with fondness.
@DennisGW10 - When PS came out, I was cruzin' in my 1 of a kind 84 TransAm, and thinking of the 70's, especially of Mar 30 '78, my cruzin' in my '77 (Bandit) TransAm, jammin' w/ tops down @ 10-11 PM & 32 Degrees - heat wave considering the -26 of that winter - & after some great tunes deciding to drive from Chicago to Pasadena, Calif. I left Chicago Thur @ 1AM, > St Loius > Route 66, @ ~9PM was IN Amarillo TX, Albuquerque @ ~4AM, arrived Pasadena, Friday 6:30PM. 2250 miles nonstop & solo!! Ohhhh
@EarCandyJar Trans Am? Curse you! In fall of '77 I bought a brand new showroom edition Camaro Z28! Trans Ams were the enemy! I added to it an 8 track player and amplified speakers called "Mind Blowers", so I blasted the tunes as well. To this day the Z28 was the nicest car I ever owned, but after my daughter was born we couldn't afford it any more, so I traded it in on a '67 Camaro SS350. Ah, those were the days...
@DennisGW10 - Do u feel better knowing that I drove off the show room floor a '75 Camaro? Same for an 85 Vette... hee hee. In the '77 TA (STICK SHIFT .... POS) I had Jensens - forgot the audio sys. ~1 month ago some TV prog labeled the '77 TA 5.6 as one of the 10 most sought after muscle cars. I never got into the TA/Camaro wars. Once drove a buddy's 67 Cuda w/456 Hemi + hood scoop + 50s rears. A bud had a 67 350SS reddish orange. Gr8 cars gr8 tunes gr8 times gr8 future. The flip of 2day. PEACE
@EarCandyJar I think the last car I owned -- a '71 Datsun 240Z -- was probably the fastest, but the Z28 was the nicest. Probably the fastest I ever drove was a '74 'Vette with a 454 that was owned by a co-worker named Phred. Now, regrettably, I can't drive any more after a stroke in '94 and having both legs amputated in '03. Driving is what I miss the most...
@DennisGW10 - VERY sorry 2 hear of ur predicament. My best 2u!!! I drove many new 240s. As for the 454 ...t'was not my time. Long story but I was to drive one a buddy bought. Instead, he decided to get it himself nite b4. The next AM while stopped @ a light, a LARGE motor home doing 45MPH rearended the Imperial I was riding in instead of following it with the 454. The vette would have been my coffin, since I would have been smashed between the motor home & 75 Imperial. Best of health 2u !!!
@EarCandyJar I don't think of it as a "predicament"...more like an early retirement (the last day I worked was August 17, 1995) so I can do what *I* want, not what some boss tells me I HAVE to do. While I'm limited in what I can do, I still don't have to answer to anyone else. Well...sometimes I listen to what my wife wants...
@DennisGW10 - BTW, I did not just go off the deep end when deciding on the California "detour", since I already had airline tickets to fly Thurs AM for a wedding. I simply chose a different method of transportation ...;?). But to be sure, it was music & the balmy 32 degrees, which made me do it . Hee hee hee. Good ol' days. Peace!!!

This song STILL reminds me of an old girlfriend from 25 years ago. There are still times that I miss her...

Thanks! Glad you liked it.
I need to make a new vid, composed of an entire set of shots I took (on two separate occasions) while testing lenses.
This was actually a test run .... which it shows .... 8?). But then it is all about the music.
Thanks again.
