  • Is that a scar between her eyebrows?

  • @Tempe1962 yes Edie had been in a car accident..which is why there are many photo's of her with a little scar

  • stop idolizing women who were famous for not accomplishing anything. It's no different than idolizing Paris Hilton today. They were just more stylish and Edie died young so people don't want to admit, it was a case for being famous for nothing!

  • @Tigerlily21 >>Stop telling people how or what to think...Personally I am a fan of the Era The Factory and Andy Warhol, Both "It Girls" exsisted and gained fame through Warhol. Other than that please Get out of HERE. :)

  • @Tigerlily21 She accomplished somekind of being, adding some meaningless singing, writing, businessing or modelling wouldn't have added much.

  • @Tigerlily21 ur an gross asshole go fuck urself

  • Baby Jane Holzer once performed a pop song on Hullabaloo but I can't find it on video or on record.

  • @WytZox1 Found it for ya

  • @Miapink12 -- No! This ain't it ...

  • Wow, she sure lost some weight between '64 and '65. Gorgeous Edie!

  • To me skinny looks better.

  • Edie Sedgwick is so gorgeous unlike girls today that photo shop there face and body, I mean to me that's pathetic, I wish I was in the 60's because you can see there real beauty without technology.....

  • @AnitaBrooke They still edited photos back in the day, they just didn't do it digitally. Actually, I'd say publicity photos from the 40's and 50's had the least realistic look out of all the eras.

  • Edie was so much cooler than Baby Jane, imo. While Baby Jane had a classic, very meticulously groomed look, Edie somehow channelled this early punk-ish look. God, Edie at her 21st birthday party in Camdridge looks quite different to the NYC Edie about one year later...

  • @Dingalingring I don't think Baby Jane Holzer was a classic beauty. I think she looked like a drag queen. I mean, really, she looked like a man. I don't get it. At all.

  • @marmalade4sunrise >>LOL Oh Wow Haven't you heard Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder, and MOney Talks..Stylish Debutantes IN

  • im reading american biography about her....i cant put it down!!!

  • She really looks like Sienna with the wet hair at :50.

  • well whatdoyakno!!

They were the original it girls!!!

Baby jane rode a white horse into a niteclub called the electric circus --it hit all the papers the next day - wish I was in new york then - lower east side 8th street in the fab sixties... today we have... Paris (a watered down version)

a poor imitation - or Amanda Cadinet or Sienna miller.

  • Pleaseantly Surprised with Awesome additional information of Jane..love it. And Yes Paris I agree with you ! But I like Sienna & keira knightley as actresses & themselves

  • I think you've got it backwards - Andy brought them fame...

  • They brought each other Fame they both promoted each other and themselves...But Yeah Of Course Andy Was more popular but together they Had Fame!

  • Great vid...what's the name of this song?

  • sHAKIN' all over by THE Guess Who

  • Thanks!

  • they were both very gorgeous women! i love them both!

  • Oh Cool, check out my EDIE REMIX i have Baby Jane holzer footage in there too.

  • i did! i really liked it! Gerard Malanga cracks me up!

  • What kind of necklace is she wearing at 2:10? Thorns?

  • She was in Paris with Andy warhol, it was just a spiked chain choker for show.

  • nice done ! thank you :-)

  • at the time that this rockin' version was recorded, had the group become known as "the guess who", or, were they still known as "chad allen and the expressions?" remember, that's not burton cummings on lead vocals. this great guitar solo, played by randy b., is replicated by mick ronson for his guitar solo on bowie's cover of the who's "i can't explain", on the album, "pin ups." thanks for the treat!

  • They Were "The Guess Who", and thanks for the history on that.

  • thanks.
