@BasutoFurea What if Lynette was lying? What if it was your mother in there and some stupid bitch claimed she was putting the moves on her husband to some unstable maniac?
@bailer4life "if" is error! there ain´t no "if". And accordin´ to what i remember, Lynnette wasn´t lying and Nora was a stupid bitch and her daughter too. Besides I believe I wrote "in certain situations for certain things" !! Actually you missed this important part! And there´s more - I hardly doubt, that you´d be lyin´ about someone putting moves on your husband when you gotta "Lorrein" (was name for shotgun(meaning pistol generally) fronta ya head...
@BasutoFurea yes but my point is the shooter didn't know any of that. She just shot someone based off of two seconds of information. And you wish more people were like this?
@bailer4life quite frankly I do. Cos´ they ain´t prejudiced, unconcerned with mitigating circumstances and the best part is, that they don´t hesitate to act! And after all this Nora put in this shit herself, cos she didn´t want to cut the crap even if Lynette told her so. So she deserved it! Problem solved. It´s just because Carolyn didn´t know made the shoot possible. As I wrote - for certain things in certain situations.
@BasutoFurea Lol I fear you've desperately missed the point of the episode. I hope you remember that sentiment when you or someone you care about gets hurt or worse at the hands of some trigger happy, gung ho idiot that decides to take a similar stance.
@SilenceDuReves - Don't get me wrong. I still watch the show. But, the stories have gotten silly at times and characters act as they never would. 'BANG' was when the show was right in its prime. And, I'd go as far as to say BANG is the best episode of the series.
@domo641 Yes, Felicity and Marcia are both excellent dramatic and comedic actresses, whereas Terry and Eva are mostly just comedic. That's why Felicity and Marcia are the centerpiece of most tragic episodes in the series..
The lesson of this episode: it is always the woman's fault when the husband cheats on them, especially if the woman concentrates on something else besides her husband. Gotta love traditional values!
Well, let's see. Orson casually mentions to Bree about Harvey's affair and says that he problably cheated on her because she was too focused on what happened to Alma. Harvey does not argue the point otherwise when asked by Carolyn, and of course, this scene where it is brought up and not contested otherwise. Even if it is not said, it is implied.

The show may have lost its way. But, clearly, there was a time when it was masterful.
