I had an N64 and my family didn't have enough money to get me a new console when they all came out around 2000 I didn't get an xbox till 2006 and it was because Rare were only on xbox now. It wasn't till I had my xbox that my Dad was told about Halo and got me a copy of Halo 2, I had no idea what was going on coz I hadn't played the first one, but I bought them both and came to really appreciate the story line.

Shame about Rare going down hill, they were great in the 90s early 2000s

Reminder: there were roughly 3 forests and mostly sand. Do you know why? Sand is easier to program into a landscape, because of the texturing. I am insulting their laziness in this respect, not the fact that the game takes place in nigger land! I am not racist at all.

and actually I thought the jungle was quite nice, by your logic snow should also be easy to program but I didn't hear you complaining about The Ark, or Halo, and what about the flood textures on Cortana.

there was 1 Jungle and 1 wasteland in the Africa section of the game, the other jungle and sand based areas were on the ark.

@sgtelzilcho I thought everything was beautiful except the african desert. They should have done the game in an urban city, alien planet, or not tried it at all. Driving a ghost around in a desert is a great example of why producers shouldn't mess with the creative process. That's all I was saying.
