Great car. They made the coupe for young people and couples with no kids, or need to carry large amount of cargo. Now they made this with the same great look, but maybe if your a bit older and require to carry stuff around or kids and stuff like that.

@chris2586: I think oil in Europe is much more expensive than in the US. Diesel is our cheapest option to drive a lot of kilometers.

@PyroHeiko Just looked in the A5 Sportback Brochure, looks like it's "Amethyst Grey, metallic - 1j" However I'll warn you, there's 4 different shades of Grey; Amethyst Grey, Lava Grey, Meteor Grey and Condor Grey. And it's very difficult to tell the difference between Meteor Grey, Lava Grey and Amethyst Grey.

I saw I guy on the street on that Audi A5, white, very nice looking; he followed me and approached quick to catch up, I waited for him, I rev my BMW 1997 328is ...M52 engine... and he pretended that he didn't see me after that... lol He got scared!!! It looks quicker that what really is...

is it my imagination, or do the engines on a couple of those cars sound a bit...'rough'?

if that's the case, would those be the smaller engines or diesel?

great looking car, and i'm hoping its the 'smaller' engine that sounds rough. my 2009 honda accord V-6 sounds smoother than at least one of those cars.

again, beautiful car, and if all engines dont sound so rough, i can see buying that car in a couple of years.

That's cold diesel. There is lots of sound proof material so you won't listen to this inside :D The first A5 leaving parking is 2.0 TDi (more rough), the latter is 3.0 TDi (bit softer, might be just warmer). When warmed up they will be more civilized. Also exhausts have quite rough sound.

Ik heb de Sportback gekozen, omdat hij praktischer is. Heb altijd al sedan gehad. Ik vind het veel mooier, maar dat is persoonlijk. Het is geen quattro, wel handgeschakeld. Zal wennen zijn, geen 4wheeldrive. misschien wordt de volgende Sportback wel quattro en automaat. Dit wordt mijn 5e zwarte auto, vindt het de mooiste kleur.

ik heb de audi A5 2.0 tfsi quattro s-tronic 211 pk in zwart besteld bij van mossel tilburg. ik had in mn golf ook zoals VW het noemt 4-motion en nu weer quattro....je hebt gelijk dat het een stuk prettiger rijdt. ps ik ben ook wel erg benieuwd wat jij voor keuze's hebt gemaakt bij de aanschaf van je A5

Dat is de sportback zeer zeker. Het is mijn 2e STI, en 4 wrx ,rij al heel lang Subaru. Met deze weersomstandigheden komt de 4wieldrive goed van pas. Mijn vrouw rijdt in 2008 Forester( samen voor ons bedrijf)Wat voor kleur en motor en bij welke dealeris jouw A5. Ik kom uit Huissen(bij Arnhem), dealer is in Veenendaal, ook ons bedrijf.

ik rij op dit moment in een Golf R32....op 2 januari staat er ook voor mij een blinkende nieuwe A5 coupe te wachten bij de dealer :) maar idd een STI is zeker ook veel rijplezier toch denk ik dat de

A5 een heeeele goede opvolger is

i've got this car, just picked it up 2 days ago...... and it's fucking amazing. powerful engine -2litre diesel, but sounds like a petrol- very smooth ride, very stable at high speeds, probably cause its so wide.

sat nav system is brilliant as well, voice control needs some work but in fairness we havent calibrated it yet.

still discovering all the extra features, but at the moment its an incredible car.

if you look really hard to the side view. you will see the porcshe 911 lines structure. its very mild. the roof, the butt,.....etc.

i am not saying its like porsche but the design just looks like that to me.

Probably because Walter Da Silver is the designer of both brands: Audi and Porsche ... that's why it looks quite familiar with a Porsche, but I say that the design has been inspired from Volkswagen Passat CC (which has the same designed also, mr. Da Silva) - but this is little fuzzy, because the Passat CC has Mercedes CLS lines. In my opinion they should leave A5 unique - COUPE (with his unique facelift, without put it to A4 Sedan also). But that's another story. Let's say .. hmm ..nice car? :)
