  • 3 pointers: Keep your tempo steady (slight ritardandos at phrase endings); don't lose the upper voice in forte sections (bass tends to get wild); and, take crescendos more gradualy. I would also practice a more metronomically for a while until you get the subtleties of this difficult piece under control. It is essential that the left hand figuration remain steady, quiet and in the background except where it rises to prominence. Let your ear provide guidance. Great work!
