Okay there IS a reason I'm leaving a response. I ran across something you might find very interesting.
At the local Chapters Books, I asked store staff to help me find literature about Scientology. She used the computer, and of the many many books listed, not a single one was available. I don't know if it's because of lack of interest, or if it's the COS controlling the literature.
and "Scientology and Death"---for a few that show another side. Yeah...I am an upbeat person:
I grew up in a happy home with a Mom & Dad who taught me: "TAKE TIME TO SMELL THE ROSES, TORY--life rolls on, and all that really matters is what you enjoy NOW". Both were WAY
ahead of their time, thankfully. Now many "experts" agree: What counts is being in the NOW. As Hubbard called it, too, "Present Time".
PS: The difference is Scientologists think they *own* PT/Present time, when in truth, it's been spoken about--for years. As I said, my parents taught me about it, way before Scientology. Some of their "Tech" helps with this, but there are many other books that can teach the same things for MUCH LESS Money, and no Cult things, either.
Note: I am not sure if I made this clear, or not---but of those 35 actions that are SUPPOSED to be done, before someone is "Expelled",(#36), The C of S/OSA did NONE of the 1-35 with me. They didn't give me a Court of Ethics, nor a Committee of Ethics, nor any other "Ethics Action"---they declared me, over night, after Mark Bunker posted "Magoo: Dancing in Boston" on the net. That's it.
