@GiaiTriChannel unfortunately, that's one of the biggest problems young, aspiring guitarists have. They don't understand the importance of groove (yes, that's how it's called)
@kokkinoskoufitsa3 Hey :) Can you explain me what´s a groove? I have played guitar for 6 months , and yes , im using Steve´s Learn and master guitar lessons.
@neaandrei gladly! Ok, first of all, take a look at here: watch?v=seyg-IK0mjA
Notice the right guy after he starts playing. Observe his picking hand. Do you see how his hand doesn't ever ever stop moving? That's groove. It's kind of hard to put it in words, but you could say that it's the sense of rythm one has. It may sound strange to you, but this is ABSOLUTELY essential to a guitarist. In fact, go right now and watch a video of your favorite guitarist playing, and you'll see what I mean.
it is vital to understand that what is being played inbetween the notes (muted strings) is equally important to the notes themselves. The groove ties the music together.
@neaandrei not exactly. It is the "flow" in your playing. Try to play an easy chord song, but never stopping your right hand, rather keeping a steady rhythm with it. In order to do that, you will have to play muted strings between the chords. It will not be easy at first, but the sooner you develop this technique the better.
@TheAustinWalls That may well be true. He's a little kid, and you're a much older teen age douche bag. But, if he keeps it up, he will eclipse you... especially if you can't read music. That's just weak.
I'm planning to buy this product and I have a few questions. How long did it take your son to get that far in the video? Is he still getting better? Also, were there times when your son needed professional help, besides the booklet, for his guitar playing? Thanks for your time.
This video is 4 yours old. I want to see how he is today!!!

Anyone who says you can't teach yourself guitar is mad. Mark Tremonti taught himself, 'nuff said.

He plays wrong. Steve said "Keep Your Hand Going" and he does the opposite. You should pay more attention to what Steve said!
