Its been 10 years since the office started and I, along with many others, Im sure, am so glad its still this popular. They had an amazing cast (chiefly because of Ricky and Martin), an incredible script and overall and amazing sitcom. Best sitcom in the world. No overstatement whatsoever.

I wish people wouldn't compare American and English styles of humor based on our respective tv shows; I think American pop culture is going through a real dry spell right now, and it's not reflective of our senses of humor. American producers have taken the concept of mass appeal and stretched it to ridiculous lengths - they've diluted everything so much in order to fit everybody that nothing's funny anymore.
