The same can NOT be said of CapnOAwesome. If muslimresponse said "atheism is horrible, immoral and crazy, and supports the killing of people" then he'd be in line with CapnOAwesome. But he specifically went after atheists, not atheism.
Youtube allows free expression with some exceptions, this includes hatespeech. If an account is unjustly suspended (like iqraproductions was) then I make a fuss. Only reason I didn't fuss about Iqra's suspension is they were reinstated before I knew about it.
It would help if you were a little less condescending. I damn well know what "pretext" means. That doesn't change the fact that Youtube received a DMCA from the company that holds the rights to Carmina Burina, the music that Nick copied without permission, and that Youtube followed their standard operating procedure of suspending his account on receiving the DMCA. (He had violated copyright twice before.) And Youtube gave his account back as soon as he filed a counternotice.
Actually, Gisburne had posted a copy of the DMCA that was filed against him. He was indeed suspended for copyright infringement. Youtube was following its standard DMCA enforcement policy, unnecessarily draconian as that may be. I did some videos about this a long time ago.

That's YouTube and Viacom's story but are they REALLY gonna tell Mark the truth? Could have been someone completely outside of it all but what are the chances are that a stranger will walk by and go "Hey, is that account legal? I'm gonna contact YouTube because I don't like Jason Beghe or something?"
AnonOutreach, you are right--the timing is suspicious as hell. But if the truth ever comes out about who was behind the suspension, and if it turns out that Youtube is lying about it, then Youtube has a hell of a lot to lose. Don't forget--if Mark ever found out that Youtube was covering up for Scientologists then this would be a BIG story. Mark is an Emmy Award winning journalist--I'm sure he could get the story out.
This is the sort of thing that COULD bring Congressional attention to the way Youtube runs their business. I can't picture that the Scientologists are paying Youtube enough to run the risk of lying for them.

He is saying that a dozen accounts were suspended, but I don't know who the others are. There is a commanality and it has NOTHING to do with Muslims. The evidence is pointing to a particular political campaign. I'm trying to get more info
