  • my name is metric

  • The way she says "hi" in the beginning. So fucking sexy, it made me jizz.

  • This was the 1st Metric song I ever heard..... and at that second I was in love! :D

  • ...cuando Metric era muy muy buena!!!...

  • @mssmaggi7701 quién dice que todavia no son buenos?

  • very good

  • Dam. EH is maybe the best female music front woman today.....apologies to Karen O and Alison Mosshart. Actually they are equal to EH. Someone told me Monster Hospital is about drug rehab...? And "fighting the war" means fighting addiction? Does anyone know? Be cool cool peeps.

  • @TThirdplaneTT MAYBE....she's quite diferent each others... I also like too much Alison Mosshart and Karen'O and EH is great in her job but isnt the best

  • I am in love with how she dances!

She doesn't have to grind and roll her body to look super sexy, and she dances because she wants to, because the music tells her to, not because it would be a terrible show if she didn't. <3

  • its pointless to lump yyy's in with metric. They both play indie music and are both fronted by charismatic females, other than that its apples and oranges. Are we going to now say that the who and led zeppelin were the same because they have a similar line-up? Of course we aren't. It's all a bit sexist if you think about it

  • <3 emily haines, she is so beautiful. Love metric too! Indie girls like emily are so much hotter than all those preepy bitches from the hills.

  • OMG!! i got to see them in chicago, they are sooo amazing! :D BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!

  • They were amazing live when I got to see them! They easily had as much, if not more, energy than most of the death metal bands I love to see live!

  • unreal

  • Despite what you think about their music, they play live extremely tight. sound so amazing live

  • dude, what a shitty crowd! i've not had the pleasure of seeing Metric live before, because i'm in the UK and they don't often play over here. maybe us UKers should start a petition...?

  • the best crowd is here in Montréal!!

  • yeah, looks like it....

  • punches the air MMMMMMM

  • Saw these guys in Saskatoon in October and it fucking rocked!

Near the end, I was like, 'Hey, why the fuck haven't they played Moster Hospital?'. Then immediately after say that, Emily's voice screetches out of the darkness, 'Bam chickie bam...' and I almost shit myself in excitement! It was awesome.

    And now I'm babbling....

Oh, they also did an acoustic version of Combat baby at the end and it was fabulous.

  • DID SUPERMAN MAKE AN APPEARANCE?!

  • She sounds pretty stoned.

  • fuckkkkk

    i wish i could sing

  • Trippin Mega Balls ^

  • she is soooooooo hi hahaha

  • she is so fuckin hot

  • fucking awesome

  • she's so fucking cool!

  • yeah yeah yeahs r so metric u mean!!

  • I don't think their music are so similar, i mean they both have a strange/awesome female singer but their drummers are very different, YYY have no bass player and the guitar style is really deeper/louder in Nick Zinner (Yeah Yeah Yeahs) sound. And the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are less electronic (exept the last album)

  • and i like both bands =)

  • How cool was it the Nick zinner karen O Jimmy Shaw and Emily Haines Shared a loft in broklyn before they where famous!! that would have been cool

  • @brad151085 The thing is, the two bands used to make different music. Now i must admit the YYYs are heading to a more electonic dimension.

  • come on aparatonirico,, i cant ear you!!!

  • well, that´s what you think I dont have any problem with that

  • uhm.

metric and yeah yeah yeahs DID share an apartment together once upon a time.

  • emilly hains and karen'o in the same bed mmmmm

  • @brad151085 im a straight girl, but that would def turn me on!

  • @brad151085 hahahahahahaha god that's an amazing fantasy

  • @brad151085 OMG!

  • @brad151085 I would probably have a heart attack.

  • and Stars!

  • no way! really?

  • and TV on the Radio. Weird stuff.

  • If they tour the UK, I will be first in the queue to buy tickets. Would love to see them live!!!!!!!!!!

  • theyre touring! :D

  • Same here!

  • I am going to see them in Oxford next Sunday!

  • wow they sound just as great live :D

    I love Metrcic!

  • I definitely don't want to compete with Em.

  • I love how all of a sudden it starts and then all hell breaks loose, this is an AMAZING performance of this song.

  • is this a dvd?

  • Yes, "Live at the Metropolis" is the title.

  • Its more of a stage persona really.

  • love metric!

but she's a little strange on live...

  • James Shaw is such an animated guitarist, hes definetly one of my favourites for sure

  • Ya, makes we wanna go out and get that Fender Jag with soapbar pickups i always wanted.

  • like a blonde, Uma Therman-looking Karen O, lol.

  • I was thinking the same thing. She moves a LOT like Karen

  • What a handsome performance.

  • god this is amazing

  • its fucking awesome man
