I used to have this gave, my mom bought it for me as a present. I was not very happy with it and never completed it, though I played it for a fair amount of time. Now I blame myself for selling it back in those days. Nostalgia.

@foolishginger I believe it's Shrine of controversy, the beginning of mans nightmare. It kinda throws you off because the dolphines are marked as enemies, but really their allies.
I'm patiently awaiting the movie based ont he game series >:D

I remember my mom buying me a plug in play tv game with Sega Genesis games. I saw Ecco and I thought it would be cool, because it had dolphins. I never got far. Last year I picked it up again, and fell even more in love with the game. I looked up more about the Ecco games and now I wish I could play them all...Ecco is surely a great game series and yet it's unknown to today's gamers...I only wish I were older so I knew of the game's existence when it released...

Great game =D Never completed it though...too hard xD especially since I was only about 8 at the time =) I wish they got a sequal for ps3...think about the graphics then =D

My dad bought this game for me when I was a little girl. I still remember it, but I never finished the game.

Defender of the Future is a Dreamcast game. ;p I dunno how much the PS2 remake changed, though.
Anyway, Ecco really does need more love. Apparently the original creator is trying to buy the rights back so he can continue the story from Tides, but I haven't heard anything since his initial announcement.

I hope you're right. I have both the Dreamcast version and the PS2 version. I WOULD LOVE to see another sequel of this great series.
