Why this wasn't posted as a single video is beyond me. It worth the time to watch all 5 of them.
P.S. I'm pretty sure all the dislikes are communists who are so disconnected from reality that they can't like his fiction because of his political views.
continued... Through this fog they come along Dark creatures singing a terrible song The rest of the bar laughed at him Only I felt my hope grow dim They found him dead the very next day "No more stories from him," I heard them say We blamed bad luck for his fate Only I felt terror so great She and he will know that someday all things will end That misty night That dismal moon The dead search for their kin While angels sing, in endless dark The dead seek out sin
"He has been nominated for the Mystery Writers of Americas Edgar Award five times and has won twice. His latest novel for adults, Empire of Lies, was about media bias in the age of terror, and topped Amazon.coms thriller list. He has also made bestseller lists with his new thriller for young adults The Last Thing I Remember, the first book in the Homelanders series. "
just a thought but consider this excerpt from his pjtv bio:
"Andrew Klavan is the author of such internationally bestselling crime novels as True Crime, filmed by Clint Eastwood, and Dont Say A Word, filmed starring Michael Douglas".
I hope not. My little brother killed himself just before Christmas many years ago. I am starting to work up an anger we are playing a game here. I hope not.
No, sorry, I don't mean to be the first to cry foul on this, but the computer animated fire is too much for me. I can already see the next plot developments dangling in the air, waiting to be dropped.
Wow, Andrew, I`m not sure what to believe, but I`ll believe you`re sincere. That is a terrible story to have to hold in your heart. I can only imagine the pain and grief in your heart and the suffering you must have felt reconciling what happened, not just the fact that another human being lost her life, but that your child lost his or her`s as well. I look forward to hearing the conclusion to this story, even though I know it must be painful for you to share. Thank you.
So are you recycling the name Amanda from your novel "Hunting Down Amanda" about the kid with the implausible healing powers? Or was there a real Amanda that you used as a namesake for that story?
Andrew - thank you for sharing this heart-wrenching part of your life. I'm very sorry. Please, please, don't blame yourself. It seems like a scene played out so often, so similarly - but the outcome is rarely this tragic.
This really was great. He pulled the emotional strings well and brought me up and down. Excellent work Klavan; those years at Harvard paid off!

continued...
Four and twenty deadbirds, they bleed upon the nest
There was no time for reason, they had no sign of a threat
Now it's too late, too late for me
This town will eventually take me
Too late, too late for me
This town will win
karozans 11 months ago
From the song called Hometown.
He spoke of tortured souls
So outrageous the toll
You can lose all you have
He refused to give in to the town that takes all
Survive, you must have the will
This movie doesn't end the way we want all the time
Then he shouts at the moon
She's gone, and fear has overcome
He was walking the mile, he was walking alone

This reminds me of my favorite video game of all time.
It is the town that is silent.
It is Silent Hill.

Amanda must have been a former boyscout majoring in Mathematics. That would be pretty tough to do in such a short space of time.
