Use black pvc pipe because its stronger and is already black so their is no painting involved, the tubes are thicker and you wont get sagg in the midle. If yoy prefer white because of the connectors then sand the poles before you cut them and it will be eazyer to paint in the prep stages, good luck and nice setup
hi there going to make one myself can you write back how much it all cost with the 8 ft plus wt size pipes please as there 2 different size pipes many thanks dean nice job to ;-) lol
Thanks! I'm looking for something to do to use to make lights for my small theater shows. I'm going to use clamp lights and dimmers....I'll let you know how it works. Thanks again!
@112233gy hardly use the 8ft barley the 4ft lol but for the few lights I have they work perfect.....most of the parties I dj are not big on lights or light shows ...Just as long we have enough to see everybody is happy lol
Hey man thanks so much for the idea!!! love it. I think i am going to try to make almost the same thing but look into making it with some cross braces and 3 poles for each side. A big truss!! thanks again
Sup Ricky! Man, you build everything! Great job man! I am wondering how stable it will be once you put all the lights on it. Especially if you put some heavy lights like a Revo III on it. But it's all good. Looking forward to seeing the final product. PEACE!!!
@MakeItFunkyProds Thanks Vince, but yea before I do the final touches I am going to do some test just to see if I need to trim some down for more durability. But one thing I do plan on doing is on all the joints parts drill lil holes and add some bolts n screws for more support!!!
@DJRickyLee1 I think that's a great idea! Either way, you did a great job on this. Don't forget to make a final video showing the finished product cuz I'm waiting for it. LOL!
You gave me an idea to make a stand for my projection screen... Thanks
