John's face after Bennett called him "Skipper"- LOL!!! "Whee!" John was always such a good sport about Bennett's teasing- and it's always great to see him cracking up with laughter while a guest is answering questions.
As we see from this 1964 broadcast, What's My Line could be more fun when the panel was lost in space.
ASIDE: I am actually old enough to remember this particular striped gum product -- they used animated zebras in the advertising. That's the trouble with modern TV, not enough zebras.
That's because animating zebras is so much more expensive than animating horses or donkeys! Only Disney could afford it, and that was years ago... ;-)
John should have clarified - the product as a whole was not alive, but it is certainly derived from life (could be synthetic, but not likely when this was filmed)
poor Mr. Hyney, what an unfortunate last name. He must have been teased a lot! Was "hiney" in use back then as slang for...rear end?

Fruit Stripe Gum is still available and still has the multi-colored Zebra on the package.
