Many pieces of music are very very good with awesome drums sound really :), boss song is FrEaKiNg on drums, no kiding (and everything else too). Final fantasy 2 got his king of master pieces too (Into Darkness, for example).

Oh, by the way, I'm sorry but NES RPG isn't too old to be phenomenal. I'm talking about Zelda 1 obviously (not a real RPG you will said). What ever, it is for me and nintendo still making Zelda again and again. Without Nintendo of course, the next generation Super Nintendo with Secret of Mana wouldn't be in existence.

The best games sellers of all time: Mario Bros 1. This isn't a RPG, but we can't ignore the first nintendo!

I have a friend who works in Game, and although he's not sure, he's convinced that he saw that Secret of Mana is being rereleased for DS. He's going to check for me - I just hope it's true...

This game was responsible for my first all-night gaming session with my best friend, playing it in co-op. Despite playing all night, we still only managed to get about halfway through the game. They really don't make RPG's like this anymore...and it's a real shame.

best game ever! was my first rpg and will always be my best. they dont make rpg's like they used to! rpg's dont need good graphics and 3D worlds. they just need gameplay!

I'd say about 93-96 was the Golden Age of RPGs on the SNES, because I find the NES RPGs a bit too old to be phenomonal. The Silver age was 97-00, w/ the Playstation 1 RPGs. Uh I have no idea where we've gone since then.
