@PEACEcells13 right click on the program, hit properties, then go to the compatibility tab and in the area that says compatibility mode check the box and select windows xp service pack 3.

i would strongly suggest you grow balls and use a mouse and keyboard considering if you want to play computer games a joystick will never be as fast as a mouse

@xStyxBleichx I strongly suggest you simply don't complain, because there are people who prefer the controller over the mouse and keyboard because it is easier and more comfortable to use. And speed doesn't really determine what is better, in fact, speed can only make things worse by making it HARDER to control your character (I would know because I've been playing games for the past few years on mouse and keyboard)

@DarkChaos451 I would strongly suggest that the people using controllers on computer games always have the feeling of "Y THIS GUY SO GOOD!" which i have had several times having tried computer games with a controller in the past. the statement that it is more comfortable does make sense however in terms of speed let me refer to a video game in which most xbox players are familiar with a call of duty game, you dont just go straight to 10 sensitivity the second you get the game for the first time

@DarkChaos451 (continued) do you? no you take the time to learn and get better at the speed you are at and then slowly creep up untill you are at your max potential all im sayin is the max potential is higher on a pc with a mouse than it is with a joystick and if you are less accurate turn down the ses and learn at a slower speed (which is why call of duty games are default 3 not 10) so in conclusion the potential to be faster with a mouse is there but the statement it is harder is your opinion
