Oh my God I argued with my husband for aweek he didn't believe me when I was telling him about this show! I used to love it when they would string all the sister shows together they don't make sitcoms like GG, Empty Nest, Nurses ect. anymore and they really should! it's a shame.
OMG! When Blanche refers to her party and no one paying attention to her, is she actually alluding to the GG epi where she throws her moonlight madness party? It must have aired the same night as this.... That's cool....
i remember the full moon on leap year theme on this show. it was a theme that occurred on the golden girls, empty nest, nurses, and i think quantum leap. those were better days. i think blossom had that theme too that week. it was really interesting. you don't see that much these days.
I remember this night. It was so much fun the way they strung the three shows together. Lifetime just showed the GG episode from that night. I wish someone would rerun Empty Nest and Nurses.
i always thought GOLDEN GIRLS was almost like a sitcom that took place at Leisure World and NURSES, a sitcom that takes place in the on-site medical center...at Leisure World...
It aired the same night as the "The Golden Girls" episode about Blanche's Moonlight Madness party. "Empty Nest" also had an episode that night about the leap year's full moon. The night that "The Golden Girls" had an episode about a hurricane, "Empty Nest" and "Nurses" also had one (Sophia guested on "Empty Nest" and Rose did on "Nurses").

Rest in Peace Blanche! My mothers favorite quote from her was:
Dorthy: Theres a man in the lawn
Blanche: Quick, Get the net!!!

This was the first live TV show I saw while visiting LA. While not realty to nursing...it was entertaining.
