You know what lifted vans are good for? They keep the Cops from seeing shit. You got your beer, guns and shit in the back. Plus you can frig anywhere and nothing anyone can do. You have privacy when you leave home. In a car they see everything and you can't frig.
Just plain Impressive Dude! I'm one of the biggest 4x4 van fans around, and I'm glad to have finally found your video on youtube. You might want to re-title it w/ "4x4 &/or 4WD Van..." in it to get more search hits for us 4wd Vanatics. I just uploaded 9 or 10 clips of my '80 4x4 Ford E250 Pathfinder van under utmax. I keep looking for more extreme things to test mine on, but I forget to video most of it. Anyhow, great stuff; I enjoyed. Later...
Do these Chevy van bodies tend to hold up well to the twisting stress of slow wheelin like in this video???? Or do they start stress cracking from it? I'm considering getting on after many many years of always wanting one.
Like any uni-body vehicle they do. But the last well and strapping them to a ladder chassis make em very heavy. Also consider that most 4x4 vans are still going strong, and that many "street" vans suffer the same twisting due to curb riding. Go get your van and enjoy!
ill sub to you if you make a vid showing you taking a baseball bat to the van.
