This game is going to be nuts, i downloaded the creature creator and it is already turning me on. It looks like it could be very charming gameplay, and you watch, there will be as many add on's as the sims 2 did.
to todddboy and X6pali, the rts phases of the game are really tribe AND civ, and each stage(Except cell) can go as fast or as slow as you want it to, for example if you never spend points on brain in creature phase you will never reach tribe thus being able to remain a wild creature or the entire game if you so choose, and if you dont conquer the other tribes in tribal (and civ a little later) you will never be able to go to civ or space, so in reality you choose how long it will take

The only thing thats somewaht out of place in spore are that they have scaled down the planets, moons, suns etc/scaled up the creatures, buildings etc... so that it wont like take eons to conquer one planet, that you easlier will get a percpective on how huge a galaxy is in a user friendly way also to save processor power. Thats my bet
They're plenty big enough if you're on foot, they just scale down in size when you're zoomed way out with a space ship. Besides though, do you expect them to each be Earth-size or something?
Actually, very few will be the size of earth. most will encompass an area roughly the size of Norway. but there are over 2 million planets in the spore galaxy so theres over 100,000 earths worth of space to divide and conquer.

Yep, that was one of the main purposes of launching the creature creator months early; so when the full game launches, the galaxies will already be populated with creatures. Of course, Maxis only expected 100,000 creatures by September, but as you see they achieved that in the first day ;-)
spore downloads the creatures randomly from sporepedia and put them into ur galaxy or only uses the creatures that u downloaded previously,i mean from the local sporepedia??

Yep, no problem. That's one of the main reasons I uploaded it in the first place- IGN seems to have no problem with loading up the advertisements quickly, but when it comes to the actual video I want to watch, it can take ages to load at high quality.

I don't think thats the creature creator. In tribal phase onwards you can give your creatures cloths, so I think thats the armour editor
