  • His defensive play was great at times but he missed alot of punishes I would've been all over. Not saying i'm better obviously, just was surprised to see so many shoryuken with no flash kicks (or even ultras).

  • In the end Subaru just outplayed Matsu, and that's all that matters. Although, I do think Matsu was a bit too conservative with his EX meter.

  • wow... that guile controled most of the rounds and still got owned..

  • lol, talk about choking.

  • I love* it when solid Guile players outplay their opponents and end up losing to bullshit.

    *sarcasm

  • 2:49

  • HAHAHAHAHA

  • looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

  • MrCarnage7 you just proved you have no fucking clue what you are talking about. Guile Is a medium character at BEST. If you look at any tier list, you would see that it's an even match up.

  • GG.

  • Damnit. I wanted Guile to win this one so bad. This match really had me on the edge of my seat. Not enough pro Guile players.

  • That's because Guile fucking sucks balls in SF4, straight up.

  • This Ken exploded into a flurry of attacks and throws in the last round. Wow!

  • Wow, I'm really surprised. Matsu is normally so sharp, but after round 2, he seemed tentative. Missed 100 opportunities to punish Ken's spammed special moves. And his wakeup game was nonexistent...

I would expect this from another Guile player, but not Matsu.

  • Yea he froze at a lot of opportunities for punishing...but the last round Ken's crossup game got him. Matsu seems to have a hard time against crossup as well, except Yoshiwo.

  • there were plenty of opportunities so punish that ken that the guile player missed. a good guile but not good enough.

  • how the f did guile lose... C'MON

  • i always wondered. can charge projectile characters keep up with hadoukens?

of course nobody can win projectile battle with sagat.

  • yeah they can keep up well enough with the "pre-charge" method

charge back -> forward -> back punch method

you press the button not at forward but when you return the stick back to the back position.

  • The Guile player needs to learn how to defend. Just because you can run behind your projectiles doesn't mean your invincible.

  • i agree.

also noticed he had full ex bar for the last 2 or 3 rounds and should have used more ex sonics or ex flash kicks.

  • He could have easily flash kicked to Ken's Hurricane Kick. In the first round there were 3 opportunities for this.

  • This was so disappointing for the Guile player. I don't particularly think the Ken player was better, but he definitely took advantage of the momentum.

  • wow

    guile choked

    surrenderin a 2-0 lead? wow

  • That Guile was nice, but it seems he folded under the pressure in Rd 3.

  • bare in mind this was in 2008? before u even started playing =P

they could be new to the game.

  • hey, how does he charge the sonic boom in less than two seconds?

  • they pre charged.

search up gilley and his guile vids. he teaches you how

  • This video gave me some great ideas on how to work on my Guile game.

    THX for posting it.l

  • No offense to the Ken player, but he could use a better neutral position game. He jumps those sonic booms so late causing him to be at a disadvantage in the air. His response is EX tatsu to escape danger, but it burns meter. He's on point with the focus dash throw through sonic booms though.

  • guile player lost his flare
