There is, whether we like it or not, a check list for magical girl animes.

They typically have transformation sequences into uniforms, magical props, enemies that majority of the time don't "transform", and a very corny love interest.

Also, characters in Mahou Shoujo are super exagqerated and stereotypical.

But, again, we love them anyways~

@robinburbach Sailor Moon is a 90s classic. It's a CLASSIC anime. Much like 80s/70s rock music is Classic and therefore, unbeatable.

I love Elfen Lied. It's my MODERN ANIME favourite.

But Sailor Moon is cheesy, girly, and obnoxious... but we love it anyways. Even Moonies (fans like myself) make fun of their beloved series. But... we're allowed to because in no way do we mean it to be offensive of bashing. It's just our own humor only others like ourselves would understand.
