Every time i try to export media encoder pops up and i go threw the whole process but the status shows a check mark but my video is no where to be found??

I am new to preimere pro. I am new to HD videos. I want to upload my HD video to my website. Normaly I convert my mpeg 2 videos into swf files. The HD files can be quite large as you know. When I convert into flash the size of file is greatly reduced and allows the video to come up quickly on my website. Now I have never tried to convert HD video into Flash. Can this be done and with the same clarity and hight definition?

Whenever I export, my source dementions are always larger than my output demensions.. leaving a thick, square border around my video and I have no idea how to fix this. Help?
