My God what is wrong with some people.Can u show some kind of respect.What is more important...showing respect to a fallen soldier or correcting spelling of someone who is trying to?My father is 89 years old and served in the Canadian Navy during ww11.I have brothers,brother in laws, and nephews in the Canadian Military.Do not dare say a soldier is not a hero.Whether they come back or not each one is a hero.The Highway of Heroes is more than a highway.It is a pathway to their families.!!!!!!!!!

Did you see this video and write the song to it, or did you have the song idea then put the video to it? And how did you get Rik Emmett to do the solo!

My dad was a military man and I wrote my own song ("The Heroes Highway") about a year ago from what I read in the newspapers. I see some similar themes and even generic wording (e.g. "sons and daughters") now that I've listened to yours. Don't know about you, but I can still hardly play my own song without crying some...

that song sure doe make me proud to be a canadian and it made me cry just now as i watched it. Thank you Bob Reid for making this song and video.
