@alexevanslver1123 i used house paint & artists paints. go to home depot and look in their "oops" paint section. perfect for murals and cheap

That's great, I'm done one like that but on a smaller wall. But the thing that gets to me about murals is indeed how long it takes...I get kinda sick of it by the time it's done.

And everyone asks how long it took. I never count! No idea, and I should know, so that I can quote them more precisely.

2500.00 for the one wall. It was 10 feet by 21 feet. I could only get at it in the evenings & weekends so the price was higher.

For 4 walls it depends on how detailed they are. You don't want too much going on every wall or it will look cluttered.

If you can do it in a week you charged a decent amount. But never forget you are creating a piece of art. The price needs to go up accordingly.

BTW what did you charge for that if you don't mind me asking? I am doing a pirate mural now w/ a background similar and I think I undercharged at $1500....mind you it is 4 walls!

You totally undercharged! I think I once charged 2K for 2 small walls. It was a more detailed mural, but that's how you learn next time, by making such mistake. Prices vary by area, so it's hard to tell you what your rate should be. Check with other muralists; call one and pretend you are a potential customer. ;)

No, it's easier to work alone. I have done about 5 murals with another artist. We each took a side. Let's just say that's not a good idea, especially if your styles are really different. hahahah:>

I'm done one like that, 2 people, but to avoid the differences you speak about we both worked throughout the entire thing; didn't do things separately. We predicted this problem could happen beforehand.
