I don't get why this clip is funny.. is it because the conservatives are refusing to bring a non-partisan Canadian delegation to the UN conference on climate change, even though every government for the past 15 years has done so? Or is it because the conservatives cultivate their public image by stifling any and all forms of opposition or dissent? Or MAYBE, it's funny because it took the Liberal Party 13 years to become arrogant and unaccountable whereas the conservatives managed it in 13 months

Of course, we cannot expect John Barid to actually give a reason as to why he is not letting non-partisan canadians go to the conference; no, we would rather be distracted by his lame comebacks, since people prefer to approach and observe politics like a dissing contest you would see in primetime MTV. I always thought being indepedently minded meant calling it on all sides, guess not. And people wonder why there is such apathy towards politics.
