If Matthews mom already knew Matthew was a con artist since she "caught him in the act" why wouldn't Norman just TELL her "This was another one of Matthews tricks!" And what happened to the REAL ex?? Wasn't she supposed to burst through the door too? And Julie knew about the whole thing! Wouldn't Julie wonder why her plan didn't happen??? The writers BOMBED in these last few episodes. Show TOTALLY lost it's edge!

It totally lost steam because it had WAY less of an "edge" to it. It was WAY cooler before the mom found out about Matthew. After that it was kind of bland and just "silly." Matthews old pranks and schemes were EPIC. After he got caught it just wasn't the same. Not AWFUL, but almost like a totally different show.
