Yeah, was an optimistic pass, and I don't know how the race was going, what points might be at stake, but that is a prime passing spot at Suzuka; it's a high speed, heavy braking zone, and depending on the setups of each car (which I don't know), that might have been his best opportunity, and he was certainly close enough. I can't blame him for trying, although there is a curve, but clearly the leading car doesn't have a clue what's going on around him.

Suzuka is pretty dangerous but this crash was their own fault, they bit too far on the inside trying to over take. The tires were just chewed up by the one ahead. It probably would have been worse at Leguna Seca

Yeah he won ONLY 2 Championchips. Year 2000 Mika allmost won his 3 WDC, but engine failure in Indianpolis cost his 3 WDC. Year 2001, McLaren was not best team in F1. Mika had many engine failures, transmission failures, but Mika won 2 races. Ayrton drove 10 season but he had ONLY 3 WDC. Mika drove 8 seasons: 1991-1992 Lotus 1992-1993 Test driver in McLaren and drove 3 races. 1994-2001 Two World driver championchip.20 wins, 26 polepositions, 25 fastest laps. So bite it
